Astons P.O.V.
I'll be honest with you, I haven't seen Luce for three weeks now and it's killing me. We've not fallen out over the whole pregnancy thing, she's just been so busy with the fashion show preparations that she's been in the office till at least 9 o'clock at night. And I've been going hard in rehearsals so I was dead to the world by 10 o'clock so we've not really seen each other.
But like I said to her, I'd rather not see her for weeks on end as long as she's doing what she loves and she's achieving her dream. I just didn't realise how hard it would be not to see her, kiss her, touch her. It's unreal how much I miss her. And it just sucks that it's Sunday today and it's our rest day from rehearsals and Luce is stuck in the office all day again, like she is every single Sunday.
I thought I wasn't going to see her at all today up until I got a phone call from her at about one o'clock in the afternoon. So I paused my X Box and answered the call as quick as I could.
"He-"
"Ast I need you to do me a favour!" Luce said, sounding frustrated.
"Sure babe, what's up?" I asked as I sat up, throwing the controller to the other end of the couch.
"The stupid manufacturers sent the designs to the wrong fucking address and I can't go and get them because I've got endless amounts of auditions to do and-"
"Do you want me to go and get them?" I asked, holding back my laughs at how stressed out she was being.
"Could you? I'll call them and let them know that you're coming."
"Sure, just text me the address and I'll go get them for you."
"I can't thank you enough Ast, can you bring them by the office when you've got them?"
"Course, I-"
"Thanks Ast I'll see you later!"
"Love..you." I sighed, realising that she'd already hung up on me.
I let it wash over my head though, she sounded stressed so she probably didn't mean it. I got a text a few seconds later with an address so I quickly ran upstairs to change into something more suitable than just joggers before locking up and jumping into my car, driving to the address that Luce sent me.
Once I'd given my name in at the reception, I was given about three big boxes full of Luce's designs so it took three trips to get all of them in my car, thanks to the ignorant security guard who just stood there and watched.
I drove back home to Luce's office and actually got some people to help me to get them into the lift, where two of the bulky security men came with me to help carry them when we got up there. I knocked on Luce's door as soon as we got there before pushing the door open to see her furiously typing away at her desk.
"Just leave them there." She said offhandedly, pointing to a random space in the corner as she continued to type.
I thanked the men for helping me carry the boxes once they'd put them down before they left and I sat in the chair opposite Luce.
"Hey," I smiled as she carried on typing, ignoring my presence. "Babe?"
"What Aston?!" She snapped, throwing her pencil down.
"I was only saying hello." I frowned as she sighed before pushing the computer mouse away.
"Does it look like I've got time for hello's?!" She asked as she stood up from her desk, the wheels from her chair gliding across the floor as she made her way over to the boxes.
"What, you can't take five minutes just to speak to me?" I asked as she took the clothes out of the boxes and set them on the table.
"Aston I don't have five minutes!"
"Well do you want some help?" I asked, trying a different approach.
"No! You don't know what you're doing and-"
"So then tell me!" I laughed as I stood up, going over to the boxes where she pushed me away. "Luce!"
"Just get out Aston!" Luce shouted, throwing the clothes back into the back as I stood there dumbfounded.
"What?" I asked as my face fell.
"Go home."
"You don't want-"
"No! Just go home and I'll talk to you later."
"Sure." I frowned before turning on the spot and walking out of her office, making sure to slam the door behind me.
I can't believe she just threw me out of her office like that, she didn't even say hello and I didn't even get a thank you. I get that she's stressed out today, I really do, but I just thought she'd be a little bit nicer to me I guess.
