February's always the busiest month of year for Aston, what with his birthday, Valentine's Day and the Brit Awards all being in the same month. Speaking of which, that's where we're heading to tonight ahead of Astons birthday next week. Aston and his band have been nominated for four awards tonight, so it's an award show that they couldn't not attend.

Alongside this, he and his band mates all had a 'plus one' invite so they collectively chose to bring their partners to keep their families out of the spotlight, which was understandable. So I'd been out shopping with Rochelle a few weeks ago to get my dress and I'm completely in love with it! It looks like a two piece dress but it's not and the top half has quite a bit of detail but the bottom half is just simple and flowy. It's gorgeous (see picture). And it's not as if after the phone call I had I can just bail on Aston, he wants me there so I'm going to be there for him seeing as he's been there for me plenty of times.

Not only was this a big night for Astons band but it was quite a big night for me and Aston too. This was the first time we'd be seen out in public since we got engaged, and it was also the first time I'd be attending a red carpet event with Ast. It sounds silly, we've been together for nearly two years and I've never been to a red carpet event but Aston said that he wanted me to be out of the public eye for as long as possible. But that plan soon went wrong when my designs blew up and I'm now slightly recognisable in the UK.

"Babe are you nearly done? The car's gonna be here any minute!" Aston called from the bathroom, just applying the finishing touches to his look.

"Yeah I'm done!" I replied, slipping my bracelet onto my wrist.

"Can I finally see what you're wearing?" He chuckled as I came out of the wardrobe. "Wow."

"Do you like it?" I asked as Aston flicked the bathroom light off and came over to me.

"I love it. You look gorgeous." He smiled before quickly kissing my lips so that he didn't smudge my lipstick.

"It's okay for the red carpet?" I asked, looking down at my outfit.

"It's perfect," Aston said as he placed his finger under my chin and lifted my head up. "You're perfect." He smiled before kissing my cheek.

"Are you ready?" I asked after hearing the car horn from outside.

"Yep, lets go," He smiled, taking my hand as I picked up my clutch off the bed. "Woah, where's your ring?"

"Oh god," I muttered, releasing Astons hand as I went over to my jewellery box on my bedside table to retrieve my ring. "I put it away while I had a shower, I just forgot to put it back on."

"So it's got nothing to do with tonight? Because babe if you're not ready for everyone to know-"

"I'm fine with it, I just forgot, honest." I smiled, kissing his cheek before he took my hand again and started to lead me carefully down the stairs.

We locked up the house and got into the car that was waiting for us, with Marvin and Rochelle inside so there was some company for the journey rather than just us two. All of us chatted the entire way there before we eventually arrived in the car line and I got a glimpse of how many fans and paparazzi's were outside.

"You alright Luce?" Rochelle asked loudly, bringing Aston and Marvin out of their conversation as they turned their attention to me.

"I'm fine, why?" I laughed, tightening my grip on my hands as I clasped them together.

"You've just gone quiet that's all."

"Babe?" Aston asked, resting his hand on my knee. "You sure you're okay?"

"Just nervous, I'll be alright." I said, flashing a fake smile.

"Oi," He whispered, squeezing my knee as Rochelle and Marvin went into their own conversation. "You'd tell me if there's something wrong, right?"

"Yeah, I'm just scared."

"I'll get it out of you once we're inside," Aston said as Marvin and Rochelle climbed out of the car. "There's something going on and you're not telling me."

Aston got out of the car first, holding his hand out to help me out of the car before closing the door behind me. We stood to one side as Marvin and Rochelle had their pictures taken in front of all the shouting press and screaming fans. Once they were near enough at the middle, a woman told me and Aston to go next so he squeezed my hand before leading me onto the red carpet, surrounded by flashing lights. Throughout our time on the red carpet Aston kept his arm wrapped securely around my waist, rubbing his thumb in circles in his own attempt to distract me from what's going on. We'd soon reached the end of the line, along with the rest of his band mates, who were soon whisked away to do some band press and pictures after Aston made sure that I was okay, leaving me in the good hands of the girls. I was speaking to Chloe about her next dance project before I felt my phone vibrate in my clutch so I excused myself to get it and answer the call.

And it was in that moment that I thought my whole world had come crashing down.
