24 - You Don't Get To Do That To Me

Livi's P.O.V

"Aren't you happy to be back working with me again" I smiled at Ella as I skipped in to her dressing room.

"Yes I am, I'm guessing you're happy to be working with me to" she laughed spinning her chair round.

"Of course I am" I smiled, "however I need to get changed so I'll be back in a minute!"

"See you in a bit" she laughed as I left the room again. I walked down the halls towards my dressing room.

"Hey Livi, it's a shame about Ben" someone said to me as I walked past. I frowned but carried on walking.

"Livi I was so disappointed for you when I found out about Ben" another person called as I passed them. I don't know what they were talking about but I'd just ask Ben when I saw him. I walked in to my dressing room and quickly got changed in to my dance stuff. Once I was changed I walked back out towards the stage to meet Ella to warm up. On my way again people were telling me who sad it was about Ben quickly as I past and I was still confused as ever. Once I reached the stage I went to stand with Ella.

"So how have you been?" I asked as we started to warm up for practise.

"Yeah I've been really good, Ben and I are finally in a good place and I think we might have something good between us, we've have some really nice days over the past week and I really enjoy spending time with him, but I feel like we haven't seen each other for ages"

"I'm really happy for you two, I'll be expecting an invite to the wedding" I winked and she laughed, "But yeah I know what you mean about not seeing each other much"

"Well we will sort it out and have a girly day out soon" She smiled as someone else came over to us.

"Hey Livi, I just wanted to say I'm sorry about Ben" One of the dancers said.

"Ok seriously why does everyone keep saying that" I asked looking at Ella and the dancer.

"Don't look at me, I'm just as clueless as you" Ella said shrugging and I turned to the dancer.

"Wait you don't know?" They frowned and I shook my head.

"Seriously where is Ben, shouldn't he be here now" I said looking behind me.

"Ben left the show, he's not performing with us anymore" The dancer said and Ella and I both stopped.

"What?" I asked, "He quit the show, why didn't he talk to me about it..."

"I would talk to Frank, he knows everything" The guy said and I left the dancer walking straight to where Frank was sat in the seats of the theater.

"Frank, had Ben really quit the show?" I asked and Frank turned round to see me and Ella.

"I would have thought he told you two... But yes, he quit a week ago, he said he was sorry but a really good job offer came up for him in America and he's going to take it"

"AMERICA?" Ella and I both yelled shocked.

"Did he really not tell you?" Frank asked and I looked at Ella.

"So much for me thinking things were going well" Ella sighed sitting down in a seat.

"I'm sorry Frank I have to go, I'll be back before practise finishes" I said before running back to my dressing room and getting back in to my clothes. I ran outside to my car and I thought about this morning. I asked Ben if he wanted a ride to work but he said he was fine and would see me later... When was he planning on telling me he was never flipping turning up. I parked the car in the apartment car park and ran up all the stairs to our floor. I was to angry to wait for the lift. I unlocked the apartment and went in.
