58 - That's Why He Came Back

James P.O.V

"So what are you going to do today?" Livi asked as I walked in to the kitchen.

"I am going to meet Brad today, what about you?"

"I don't know, I might just hang around here today" She said, "Will you be back before dinner?"

"Yeah, we should eat together, we haven't spent much time together recently"

"I'm sorry, I've been so busy helping Ben sort himself out with moving back, but yes tonight we should have dinner together" She smiled at me. I kissed her goodbye and drove over to Brad's house. Livi had been very busy with Ben lately, I feel like there's something more going on but she hasn't said anything so I don't know...

"Hey mate" Brad smiled as I walked in to his and Katie's house.

"Hey, we staying here or gonna go out for lunch?" I asked sitting on the sofa.

"We should probably go out, Katie sleeping, I don't want her to be mad at me if I wake her up"

"Yeah sure man, let's go" I said and we 10 minutes later we were sat in nandos.

"So, things are a bit rough with Katie at the moment?" I asked and he sighed.

"I messed up big time"

"Yeah you kinda did, a secret child? You didn't even tell us, even I'm kinda pissed at you"

"I panicked, who has a child at 18? And I didn't know I would fall in love with Katie and want to spend my life with her then"

"I'm guessing she's talking to you now?"

"Just, she's still not quite warmed to me again yet"

"At least you two sorted it out quite fast, livi and I have been in a rough pact for about 5 months"

"Oh god your problems are just as bad as mine, I mean I was shocked when Katie told me what happened in America, and you're being very calm about it" I just sat there, looking at him from across the table not sure what to say.

"What happened in America..?" I whispered and he looked seriously worried.

"What? Nothing happened" He said clearly trying to hide something.

"Brad you just said you were shocked with what happened in America, tell me what happened"

"No I said..."

"BRAD STOP, just tell me" I started to shout but remembered where we were and stopped.

"Ok fine, but I'm telling you because you're my best friend and I love you man"

"Just get on with it" I glared at him.

"Livi and Ben may have hooked up while they were in America together" he whispered so I could hardly hear him. I didn't even know what to say. How could she do that to me after everything we went through together. She told me nothing would ever happen, that I could trust her. Well fuck that. I got up and stormed towards the door.

"James wait, you're food" Brad called after me.

"You enjoy it" I yelled behind me and carried on walking out. I went to my car and drove back to the apartment. I didn't know if livi would be there but if she was she was about to hear it from me. I pulled up in the car park and stormed up to the apartment.

"Livi" I yelled through the apartment.

"James?" She asked walking out, "what's wro..."

"Shut up, just shut up" I said and she looked shocked at me, "This whole time you've been lying to my face, you let me believe that I was being stupid thinking something was going on between you and Ben but you've just been laughing about it behind my back while you two have your little secret romance"
