Katie P.O.V

After speaking to Livi and Megan just over a week ago it made me realise that this is a much bigger deal than I was making out. I still haven't told Brad but I have started thinking about it. We're okay now which is the good thing, he came in one night at around 2 am after a night out with Tristan so drunk he could barely stand up. I just remember him coming up to our room crying his eyes out about how sorry he was about our argument and that he hated in when we fought. Obviously he didn't remember it the next morning but I knew he meant everything he said and we've also talking it through and now things are back to normal. I just don't think they will stay like that after I tell him about the baby.

"I've missed this" I said to Brad as I sat down beside him on the sofa and he wrapped his arm around my side.

"I've missed this too" Brad replied, "I hate it when we go days without talking"

"Let's hope it doesn't happen again and starting today we will spend more quality time together, just you and me"

"Yeah that might have to start tomorrow"

"Why not today?" I asked as I sat up and turned to face Brad.

"Well I kind of said to Tris about coming round with Zoe today"

"Really Brad?" I sighed.

"I'm sorry okay I forgot I'd mentioned it to him an I can't cancel now, he said he was excited for us to get to know Zoe better"

"It's fine, it might be nice for us to all be together plus I haven't seen Tris for a while"

"Exactly, so your sure its fine?" Brad asked.

"Of course it is, I'll quality time will just have to wait until tomorrow" I smiled.

Brad and I just sat and watched TV for a while whilst we waiting for Zoe and Tristan as its something we don't get to do very often and it was nice to not have to worry about doing anything. When they did arrive around at hour later we all sat and watched a film whilst talking about what we'd been up to recently. Well I say we when in fact it was mainly just me, Tristan and Brad talking whilst Zoe sat on her phone making the occasional input. It seemed quite pointless considering I thought the reason for them coming is so we could get to know her as even though I work with her we haven't had the time. Now though I think even if I did try to make the time for her she wouldn't be interested and what annoys me the most is that Tristan is oblivious to it.

"So if I'd known you were coming I would of cooked something but as I only found out this morning we'll have to get a take out" I said as I walked into the living room and threw some menus onto the coffee table.

"That's fine by me" Tristan replied picking up a menu.

"I think we are a lot safer if you avoid cooking" Brad added.

"Hey" I replied hitting him on the arm, "my cooking isn't that bad"

"No I was just joking, it's great" Brad said but I could sense the sarcasm in his voice.

"Whatever" I sighed.

"So what do we all want?" Brad asked.

"I'm defiantly in the mood for an Indian" Tristan replied.

"No I really want pizza" Brad added.

"What do you want?" I asked Zoe as the boys argued about what food to have.

"What?" She asked snapping her head up from her phone.

"We are ordering take out and I was wondering what you wanted"

"Oh umm I don't know, I'm not bothered really" she replied before looking back down at her phone screen.

"I'll be back in a second" she added before getting up and walking out the room as she brought her phone to her ear.

I rolled my eyes before turning back to the boys who were still arguing.

"Guys won't don't we just get pizza and Indian, they you can have some of each" I shouted over their voices.

"Yeah I'm cool with that" Tristan replied.

"Sounds good to me" Brad added.

"Where's Zoe?" Tristan asked.

"Oh she had a phone call or something" I explained.

"Oh right, what food did she want?"

"She didn't care"

"She's so easy going" Tristan smiled.

"Yeah something like that" I muttered under my breath.

"Give me the list of what you want and I'll order it" I said Brad as he handed me list and I walked upstairs to get my phone so I could order the food.

***

"They said it will take about an hour" I explained as I walked back downstairs.

"Urgh why do take aways take so long" Tristan moaned.

"They don't your just inpatient" Brad laughed.

"Is Zoe still on the phone?" I asked.

"No she just left, an old friend is in London and wanted to meet up with her" Brad explained.

"So is that more important than spending time with her boyfriends friends?" I asked.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Tristan replied.

"Tristan the whole time she was here she said about 5 things, she didn't once make the effort to get involved with the conversation, is that not telling you something?"

"Maybe she's just not comfortable around you guys yet"

"I work with her Tris and Brad's spoken to her before, infact they had an argument a couple weeks ago"

"You had an argument?" Tris asked as he turned to face Brad.

"Yeah we did" Brad replied.

"Well what about?"

"About how we never see you, she's controlling you and you can't see it"

"She is not controlling me" Tristan snapped, "and we always see each other"

"That's at work Tris but when was the last time you saw Katie or Livi?"

"Ummm..."

"Exactly, you have no idea" Brad snapped.

"That doesn't mean it has anything to do with Zoe!"

"Yes it does" I replied.

"Why does it?"

"Okay where were you the past two weekends when we all met up?" I asked.

"With Zoe but...."

"No buts, before her you would of jumped at the opportunity to meet up with all of us but now it's like you don't even care" Brad sighed.

"Of course I still care"

"Well you have a funny way of showing it" I said.

"Look I'm sorry okay but I'm not just going to sit here and let you accuse my girlfriend of controlling me"

"But that's exactly what she's doing" I replied.

"Your wrong, you don't know her like I do!"

"Well that's because we never have the chance to get to know her" I said.

"If that's not saying something to you then I don't know what will" Brad added.

"You guys believe what you want but it's not true"
