42 - What Does The Future Hold?

Livi's P.O.V

"I'm going to take you out to dinner tonight" James smiled wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Ooo that sounds nice, what's the occasion?" I laughed pushing his arms from my waist.

"No occasion, just want to treat you to a nice dinner" He said and I smiled.

"Well thank you, what time do I need to be ready?" I asked and James looked at the clock.

"Well I'm going out for a bit now, so be ready for 8" He said and I nodded before he left the room. I sighed and looked at the clock too, it was 12 now. I had to go to the theatre at 1 for a meeting about what was going to happen with the show. So I had to think of something to do for an hour, so I would probably sit on the sofa watching Netflix's. I headed to the sofa and turned Netflix's when the phone rang.

"Hello" I said down the phone after picking it up.

"Livi, I'm glad I caught you" the similar voice of Ben said down the phone.

"Ben" I smiled even though he couldn't see me.

"Hey, how are you?" He said back and I sighed.

"I'm not to bad, what about you?"

"I miss you" he said so quiet I could hardly hear it.

"I miss you too"

"Livi I don't know what to do"

"What do you mean?"

"All I can think about is the week you were hear, I just want it to happen again and again"

"I know me to, but we're in different countries"

"So if I was back in the UK or you were out here things would be different between us?"

"I don't know, I still have to think about James..."

"Are you still with him?"

"Yes I am, I can't just turn my back on him after all he's done for me"

"Livi you don't love him"

"Ben, I do love James, I love you both in different ways"

"So even if we were in the same place you might still stay with James"

"Maybe, I don't know, you know how I feel about you and I'm pretty sure soon enough James is going to work it out too"

"Does he know about us?"

"No, I couldn't tell him, it would break him and he would flip at me after me going on about there being nothing between us"

"I just miss you Livi"

"I miss you too Ben, but right now James is here so that's where I have to be, I'm sorry Ben" I sighed before hanging up the phone. I couldn't keep having to pretend I don't have feelings for Ben. It's too hard to keep having to say goodbye to him when I don't want to. Thinking about that makes me feel bad about James though...

I drove to the theatre and met Ella in my dressing room.

"Hey El, how have you been?" I asked dropping my bag down on the floor.

"Yeah not to bad, how was seeing the pig" she smiled and I laughed.

"The pig is doing ok" I smiled, "he did say that he felt awful about what he did to you and never intended on hurting you, he was just hurt himself"
