8 - It's All Out Now

Livi's P.O.V

"Quick is everything ready?" Megan asked walking in to Katie and Brad's kitchen. We were throwing them a surprise welcome home party, they would be back any minute.

"Yup, James has finished his cooking" I smiled at Megan. I was sat on one of the stools in their kitchen while James cooked lunch.

"Does anyone else know how to cook?" He asked putting his arms round my shoulders.

"Sure, but not as good as you" I smiled up at him.

"Someone else can cook next time"

"But you're so good at it" Megan said followed by both of us smiling at him.

"It's not going to work" He laughed before moving all the food on to plates.

"Guys, their coming" Connor whispered running in to the kitchen. Everyone was going to sit in the kitchen while I would sit in the living room with Megan. Megan and I walked through to the sitting room and flopped out on the sofa.

"Brad hurry up I need to go and see Livi" I heard Katie moaning from outside the door.

"Oh charming, I take you on a lovely honeymoon but all you want is to see anyone but me" He said opening the door.

"Well theres a lot I need to talk with her about" She said as they walked in.

"Well unpack and then you can..." Brad said but I interrupted.

"Hey" I smiled looking up from the sofa.

"Looks like you can come downstairs and see them..." Brad mumbled giving us an odd look, "One question though, wy aren't you in your own house?"

"You said we could come round whenever we liked."

"Yeah, when we're here" Katie laughed walking over and hugging me.

"Well you should have explained that" Megan laughed hugging Katie.

"I'm so happy to see you guys, what are you doing here though?" She asked as Brad brought the cases in.

"Don't worry, I'll bring the stuff in on my own" He said sarcastically to Katie and she rolled her eyes.

"You can handle a few cases" She laughed.

"Anyway, we wanted to see you when you got back, we've missed you" Megan smiled as Brad brought in the last case.

"Aw I've missed you too, and we need to talk about Livi and a certain someone" Katie said as her and Megan turned to look at me.

"Oh yeah Ben's great" I smiled at them and Brad jumped on the sofa next to them.

"Um no, we want to know about James" He said like I was stupid.

"Why don't you just ask him youself" I laughed and Katie and Brad both looked confused before James, Tristan and Connor all came out of the kitchen holding plates of food and yelling 'welcome home'.

"Guys" Brad smiled getting up to hug them all.

"You are so cute" Katie laughed going to join their hug, "I can't believe your all here."

"Well we can have a proper catch up" I smiled, "Now tell us all about your holiday." We all sat around the sofas eating the food James cooked while Katie and Brad explained all the amazing places they got to go.

"So, which one was your favourite?" Tristan asked.

"Madagascar, it was amazing, the beaches are like the ones that you don't think are possible! It was so empty too, there's like hardly anyone around, we hardly had to queue for anything! And the weather is amazing!"

"I gotta agree, Madagascar was a good choice of mine" Brad smiled putting his arm round Katie.

"They all were" She smiled, "We had a really nice time, it was great to not have to worry about work or anything!"

"And tomorrow you get to start all up again" Connor smiled and Katie and Brad both glared at him.

"Thanks for the reminder" Brad said rolling his eyes.

"You should be excited, your job is with us" Trsitan said going over and wrapping his arms around him.

"Anyway, what we really want to know about is James and Livi" Katie said as they all turned looking between the two of us. I looked over at James who was smiling, I know he was dying to tell everyone. We hadn't really told anyone we were back together, we thought we would just keep it between the two of us.

"Well, we have something to tell you" I said and they all nodded, "James and I... hate each other and I can't stand to be around him anymore."

"What? Livi that's not true!" Katie moaned hitting my arm.

"Fine, we're back together" I laughed walking over and sitting by him. He wrapped his arms round me and everyone cheered.

"We've waited 3 years for this moment" Tristan smiled pretending to wip a tear away from his eye.

"Well it's come for you all" James laughed as I placed my head on his chest.

"Hey Livi, can I talk to you a second?" Katie asked looking towards the kitchen and I nodded. I got up and we both walked in to the kitchen.

"So, what happened with Ben? I wondered where he had gone at the wedding" She asked as we both sat on stools in the kitchen.

"Oh that's what you were asking me! Basically I told him that I couldn't be with him because I liked someone else and I didn't like him as much as he liked me" I explained and Katie nodded.

"So is he alright?" She asked and I nodded.

"Surprisingly yes, although he doesn't know that I am offcially with James yet."

"So are you going to tell him?"

"I'm gonna have to, it's not fair on him, we are still best friends."

"So you're friendship is alright? Nothings happened there?"

"No, we're still best friends" I nodded, "Although him and James aren't exactly welcoming to each other."

"Well I guess you can't blame Ben, but why doesn't James like him?"

"I don't know, Ben was really nice to him for me but James didn't seem happy that I was living with him."

"Well Ben did ask you out" Katie shrugged and I sighed.

"But James doesn't know that."

"He does now" someone sighed from the door and Katie and I both looked round to see James.

"James" Katie said getting off her stool, "I'm gonna let you two talk this one out" She quicky left the room and James came over to me.

"Ben asked you out?" He asked looking annoyed.

"Yes, before I even knew who you properly were."

"Livi why didn't you tell me!"

"I was going to but there was never any need for me to tell you before now."

"But you're living with him, a guy who's in love with you" He yelled at me.

"Yeah and I'm in love with you" I yelled back and he stopped.

"You are?" He asked and I smiled.

"Of course I am."

"I love you too" He smiled walking over and kissing me. We pulled apart and I looked over at the door where everyone was crowded round to watch.

"Hello?" I laughed looking at them and James looked over his shoulder to see them.

"Sorry, we dropped a fork" Tristan said looking at the floor, "Looks like it's not over here, oh well!" They all quickly ran away leaving James and I again.

"You've gotta love them" I laughed as James wrapped his arms round me.

"Yeah, but I love you more" He winked and I laughed.

"Don't make me cringe."
