14 - Good Or Bad News?

Livi's P.O.V

"I'm so happy you're home" Ben said and we jumped on the tube to work, "I miss dancing with my dance partner"

"I know I haven't been away long but I missed dancing with you too" I laughed, "Are we starting on our new dance today?"

"Yeah if we can spare some time, I've got some really good ideas for it" Ben nodded.

"I love how in to this you get" I smiled and he laughed.

"I just feel like we can make something really good here" Ben replied as our train came to our stop and we got off before walking up to the theatre.

"Morning you two" Frank smiled as we walked through to our dressing rooms.

"Morning Frank" We both laughed making our way to Ben's dressing room.

"We both have 2 hours free today just before lunch so we can do our dance then" Ben said looking at the times for today on his desk.

"Great, what do we have now?" I asked sitting on his sofa.

"Group 1, we better get changed" Ben said walking over to his clothes.

"Right, see you on the stage!" I said walking to my dressing room. I quickly got changed and made my way to the stage where the other dancers were.

"Ok I need Ben, Molly, Livi, Ella, John and Theo up front in their places please" Frank called and we all got in to our places for the dance. It was us five up front with the others doing back up. We went through the dance all the way through about 5 times before Frank decided that was enough for that day.

"What's next?" I asked and Ben looked at the time table.

"You've got the all girls dance for an hour then I have the boys, then we're both off"

"Cool, I'll see you in a bit then" I smiled before walking to where my next practice was.

"Hey El" I smiled walking over to the girls.

"Hey, can I talk to you after this dance, it's about Ben" She asked and I nodded.

"Of course"

"Thanks" She smiled and then we had to start this dance. We were still learning parts of this dance so we went through what we knew before working on the new things we needed to start learning. We did this for about an hour and a half and then we were told we could stop that dance for the day.

"So, what do you wanna talk about?" I asked Ella as we walked in to my dressing room.

"Well, I know Ben told you about what happened between us before you and him became friends" She said and I nodded, "Well, I really liked Ben, which is one of the reasons why I was pretty upset when he did what he did. Anyway, something sort of happened between us again, but I don't know if it is because he's upset about you or he might like me..."

"Ella you and Ben are on good terms now, I don't think he would do anything to hurt you"

"I know but, I don't know I just know what he's like and I don't want the same thing to happen again"

"Maybe you should talk to him about it"

"I can't, I don't know I just feel nervous around him, our friendship isn't the same as yours and his" She sighed, "Couldn't you talk to him..."

"I don't know El, I don't wanna get involved..."

"Please Livi, it would really help me know what to do"

"Ok, I will talk to him, but I'm not promising I will get the answer you're looking for" I said and she nodded.

"Thank you" She said before walking away. I made my way out of my dressing room and to the spare dance studio Ben and I were going to work in. He played me a few tracks he thought might be good for the dance and then we got to work and decided we'd pick one after we choreographed a bit. We got about 20 seconds of dance that we both really liked before deciding to take a break.

"So, I wanted to talk to you about something" I said taking a sip of water.

"Yeah what's that?" Ben asked and I sighed.

"What's happening between you and Ella?"

"Nothing"

"Really, there's nothing going on between you two?"

"No, there is nothing between me and Ella"

"Ben, Ella told me about you two, I was wondering if you actually liked her, or if it was bad news for you two?"

"Look whatever happens between me and Ella is nothing to do with you, you made it very clear that you were choosing James over me" He snapped at me.

"I didn't choose James, I just want to be with him! And it is to do with me because you're both my friends and I don't want to end up having to choose between you two because you know that I'd alway choose you!" I yelled, he was about to respond when someone walked in to the room.

"Frank has an announcement, he needs everyone on stage" They said before walking out again. I glared at Ben before grabbing my jumper and walking out to the stage. I stood at the back with Ben next to me.

"Good I think you're all here, right I have some brilliant news for you all" He smiled, "Our show has been picked up to go on tour! We will be touring the country every two months, so in May we will go on tour and then have 2 months break before starting again in August!" Everyone was mumbling about their excitement.

"We can finally share our dance with everyone" I smiled at Ben and he just looked blankly at me.

"Great" He said, "And for the record, you've never chosen me"

"Ben" I whispered as he started to walk away. I followed him to his dressing room.

"Ben I do chose you, you will always be my first choice"

"Yeah but never for anything that matters to me"

"I'm sorry that you think I've chosen James over you, but you know the sitiuation I'm in"

"Yeah, but if you really cared about me, you wouldn't have run back to him the second you remember who he was, you would have realised that you've created a new life and you can't try and hide away your feelings in your old one"

"Please just stop, I'm not running back to my old life, did you ever think that maybe I actually do love James, you don't know everything so stop acting like you know my life story because you only know half of it" I said before walking out. I was done with dealing with him for the day.
