Katie P.O.V
"Brad what the hell are we doing here?" I asked him as we pulled up outside a ski resort.
"This Katie is the final stop of our honeymoon."
"Your kidding right?"
"Nope" Brad said before grabbing his suitcase and heading towards the chalet in front of us which I'm guessing is where we are staying for the next week. I reluctantly picked up my bags before following Brad through the snow and into the wooden building.
"Your insane Brad, neither of us have been skiing before" I said as I sat down on the bed while Brad unpacked his suitcase.
"Well then it's about time we learn, besides weren't you getting bored of the beach and hot weather."
"Kind of but.."
"My point exactly, I wanted to do something different and I thought that learning to ski would be a nice thing for us to do together."
"I suppose I have always wanted to learn."
"Exactly, now come with me" he said as he took my hand, pulled me up off the bed and walked out onto the balcony.
"Wow" was all I could say as I took in the view before me.
"You said just last week that we had to make the most of all the natural beauties in the world and I can most definitely say that this is one of those things."
"I never thought Austria would be so beautiful!"
"That's because neither of us have ever been this close to the mountains or somewhere with this much snow."
"Thats because we live in Britain where the chances of it snowing are very slim."
"Well this week we are in Austria where it snows pretty much all the time, well it does on the mountains anyways."
"And we are going to learn to ski and have an amazing time" I smiled turning to Brad.
"Precicley" he smiled pulling me into a hug.

Today is our first official day here and our first official day skiing, ever. Brad has organised for us to have a private instructor who will teach us the basics and I believe they will be with us all day today and possibly tomorrow depending how well we do, I can already garuntee that we will need as much help as we can get. Yesterday we went to the ski hire shop and hired ski's as well as all the clothing we would need as well as googles and boots. Its quite suprising how much you actually need to go skiing. Luckily I also had some winter clothing with me for the evenings and when Brad told me to pack them I was quite confused but now it all makes sense.
We had breakfast in our challet before changing into the countless amount of layers we were required to have. I then put my hair into a fishtail braid so it wouldnt fly into my face when we were skiing before putting on a woolen headband to keep my ears warm.
"Are you ready?" Brad asked me.
"As ready as I'll ever be" I replied standing up off the sofa and putting on my jacket and boots.
We then left our chalet and walked across to the slopes where we were meeting the ski instructor. There's a main building with things like a restaurant inside and then outside was an area with a few benches which I'm guessing was like a meeting point or somewhere you could sit to take a break. ahead of that was the main entrance to the slopes with two ski lifts which took you up to the top of the mountains, somewhere where Brad and I won't be going yet.
