44 - Who To Buy For?

Livi's P.O.V

"I can't believe we're Christmas shopping already" Megan laughed as we drove to Westfield's.

"I know it's crazy, it felt like only the other day Brad and Katie were coming back from their honeymoon" I smiled parking the car.

"I don't even know what to buy anyone" Katie said as we climbed out the car.

"I don't even know who I should buy for seeing as I don't know if I'm staying" Harriet laughed.

"Well I'm expecting one" I smiled as we started walking towards the shopping centre.

"Well of course I'll get you 3 something" she smiled.

"I was only joking, don't feel like you have to get us something" I said as we walked in to Westfield.

"No really I want to get you girls something, you're always there for me and the closest friends I have" She smiled and we all awwed.

"Well I guess we have Tristan to thank for bringing you in to our lives" Katie smiled.

"I guess we will just have to do that one day, if I ever see him again" Harriet shrugged and we quickly changed the conversation.

"So, where is the best place to Christmas shop first?" Megan asked as we started to walk through the shopping centre. After a long discussion about where we should head first we eventually ended up deciding to go to home sense and we knew we could find something in there someone would want to buy.

"Katie I need to talk to you about Christmas presents" I said walking over to Katie.

"Sure what about them?" She asked turning to face me.

"Well, because you're having a baby do you want presents that could be used for the baby or do you want presents for you and Brad that aren't baby related"

"I don't mind" She laughed, "I will love whatever present you get me"

"Okay, that's not really helping because I have a few presents in mind and I don't know which one to get you"

"Just get the cheapest one, you don't need to spend a lot on Brad and I"

"That's not how we work any more Katie, we used to tell each other to buy the cheapest thing to make each other feel better and then we waste all our money anyway, but now we just waste our money because that's the fun part"

"Oh but I bought you the cheapest thing I could find...." She said and I rolled my eyes at her.

"Course you did" I said and she laughed, "I have another question"

"Is this going to go the same way as the first question?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well you ask me the question, I answer and then we both don't really care and do whatever we want?!"

"Yeah that does sound like us" I nodded, "But no I really need your advice on this"

"Okay shoot"

"Well I don't know what I should get James for Christmas...."

"That's it?"

"Yeah..."

"Livi, just buy him whatever rubbish he's said he wants" She laughed and I sighed.

"That's the thing, he hasn't said what he wants, we haven't really talked a whole recently..."

"Wait, are you two in the middle of a fight?"
