Livi's P.O.V

"Man I wish it was Christmas" I moaned walking in to the kitchen and putting some toast in the toaster.

"Why?" Ben laughed taking a sip of his drink.

"Becuase, I love christmas music, don't you really want to sing some Michael Buble songs right now?" I laughed waiting for my toast.

"Funnily enough, no I don't have the urge" He said putting his plate and glass in the sink.

"Oh, well that sucks" I sighed picking up my phone, "Looks like we're just going to have to settle with some normal Michael Buble." I put my phone in the docking station and had heartache tonight playing through the flat.

"Oh god, how many of his songs am I going to have to sit through?" He moaned as I took my toast out the toaster.

"About 10" I smiled before singing along at the top of my voice.

"Come on, you know you want to join in" I smiled and he laughed before joining in with my awful singing.

"See wasn't that fun" I laughed as the song came to an end.

"I guess it was, yes" he laughed sitting down in the living room.

"I'm glad you agree" I smiled sitting down next to him.

"So what are you doing on your day off?" Ben asked tyring to look for the tv remote.

"James wants to talk to me about something" I said picking up the tv remote, that was next to me, and turned the tv on.

"Oh, do you know what it is going to be... Hey how did that turn on" Ben said shocked looking at the tv. I laughed and waved the remote before passing it to him, "Thank you!"

"If you were going to ask me what it's about I have no idea, all I know is that he's coming in about an hour and a half."

"So that gives us time to watch the best film of all time?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"That depends what that film is.."

"Cool runnings" He said like I was stupid and I laughed.

"Put it on" I laughed, "I love this film" Ben and I sat for the next hour and a half watching cool runnings and the film was about 10 minutes from the end when James turned up.

"Do you mind if we just watch the end?" I asked as he walked in.

"Oh yeah sure" He nodded as we joined Ben on the sofa. I could tell neither of them were particularly happy about the other being there but they're going to have to get on if they both want me in their lives. I know I want both of them in mine. The film came to an end and I left the room to get my phone and purse before joing Ben and James again. However Ben was no longer in the room.

"Where did Ben go?" I asked and James nodded towards the kitchen. I walked in and saw him making some coffee.

"I'm off, I'll be back by 5 at the latest" I said and he nodded.

"I'll see you later" He didn't turn round so I just left.

"Ready?" James asked and I nodded. We walked down and got in his car before he drove us to a beach.

"Where is this place?" I asked as we got out the car.

"This is where we went on our first date" He said as we walked towards the half pebbly, half sand beach.

"Oh yeah, I can kind of remember it" I said taking in the smell of the sea. The fresh air was so nice by the beach.

"I said at the time beaches were my favourite place but the one at my home town was nicer."

"I remember" I smiled, "I had a break down one night at your parents and you took me there right?"

"Yeah" he nodded looking pleased I remembered.

"It's really nice here, we should come here more often."

"If we ever have the time" He laughed and I nodded.

"Yeah that's a good point" I smiled up at him, "So what did you wanna talk about?"

"I wanted to ask you something, I know you've only remembered me fully for about 2 week or so and I've waited 3 years for this to happen, and now it has all I want is to be able to call you mine again."

"Yeah sorry about the memory thing" I said letting out a small laugh.

"I don't care about all that anymore, just knowing I have you now makes up for all of it, Livi, I want you to be my girlfriend again" He said and I was shocked. I never really thought about what would happen with James and I. It's only been 2 weeks of us knowing each other again, part of me still feels like he's a whole new person to me... After everything with Ben I was just going to get to know James and see what happened in a month or so...

"James..." I whispered, "I'm glad we've got to know each other again but don't you feel this is a bit soon?"

"Oh, well I don't know..." He said taken back by what I had said.

"I'm not saying I don't want you" I quickly got out and he nodded, "You just need to let me process it, a lots happening all at once for me and I need to slow down and let my mind catch up with it all."

"That's fine, I get it, I just want you to be happy" He smiled at me.

"Thank you" I said hugging him, "I don't know what I would do if you didn't understand all this."

"You're recovery is going to take a long time, I mean it's been 3 years and there's still stuff you don't remember."

"It will come back, I hope" I smiled, "Remembering you has made me think I shouldn't give up hope" I laughed and he put my arm round me as we walked back to the car. He drove me back home at about 4 and I walked in to the apartment to find Ben lying on the sofa.

"Someone looks like they're having fun" I laughed as he sat up.

"I'm so bored" He moaned while I sat down beside him.

"Well let's go out for dinner, you need to get out this apartment" I said standing up again from the sofa.

"Nandos" He smiled and I nodded.

"Like we'd go anywhere else."

"So what did James have to say?" Ben asked as we walked down to Bens car.

"Oh nothing" I said trying to avoid it.

"Livi, we're still friends, I don't mind talking about it with you" He laughed and I sighed.

"Ok, he asked me to be his girlfriend" I said and he bit his lip.

"Oh... What did you say?"

"I said I needed to think about it."

"Oh" He said looking a bit happier, "So you've not decided anything...?"

"Can we talk about something else" I laughed, "I don't want to talk about this while we're trying to have a nice dinner."

"Yeah no that's fine" He smiled, "We can talk about anything you want."
