38 - Strangers In Our Own Home

Livi's P.O.V

"So how was the sun?" Katie smiled sitting down on the sofa. She had come round to mine and James' apartment this morning for a catch up.

"The weather was so nice, that's the only thing I miss about the place" I laughed taking my water from Katie.

"So what did you do out there?"

"Well we spent most of our time either by the pool or around his house, it's flipping huge"

"Does he live there on his own?"

"No, he has two friends from the show living with him, they seemed quite nice but I only met them for a short period of time"

"So you didn't really get to know them?"

"No, I only saw them for about 5 minutes"

"So where did you go, did you do anything exciting?"

"Not really, we went to the beach a few times and tried to watch the sunset one night" I laughed and she frowned.

"What do you mean tried?" She asked and stopped. I had been thinking about this all the time, should I tell her about what happened with Ben or not. Part for me felt if I told her it would make me feel a bit better as I wouldn't have to keep everything inside of me, and I know Katie isn't going to tell anyone. I would trust her with everything. However, still something inside of me still isn't ready to admit it out loud yet.

"We were both tired so we would head home before it happened, but it's not like I hadn't seen it before so it was fine" I smiled and she nodded.

"Well it sounds like you had a good time, I'm glad Ben's getting on well out there too"

"Yeah he's having a great time" I nodded, "So what do you want to do today?"

"I don't mind" She shrugged, "We could go shopping or just stay here and watch a film"

"If I go on another shopping trip I'm going to have no money left" I laughed, "So maybe we should just hang out here, I think James is coming back with Brad so we can all eat together"

"Don't you and James want to eat dinner on your own? I mean you've been away for a week"

"Oh, no it's fine, James and I have had plenty of time to catch up with each other"

"Are you sure? Because we can ring James now and tell him not to bring Brad..."

"Katie, is there something going on between you and Brad?" I asked cutting her off. I could tell when she was getting stressed about something, and she was defiantly hiding something.

"Brad thought you were the only one that knew about my pregnancy, when he found out that Megan and Tristan also knew, he flipped out thinking that I didn't trust him and you were all more important than him"

"Oh my god Katie, why didn't you say anything?"

"Because I wanted to talk about your trip, Brad and I will get through this, it just might take a while for us to sort it out"

"Katie is there anything I can do? Are you two still in your house together?" I asked and she put her head in her hands.

"He's staying with Connor, Megan came to stay with me" She finally said looking up at me.

"Katie, I'm sorry I wasn't here for you..."

"No Livi it's fine, this is my problem, and Brad and I will sort it out, we always do right"
