"This is it!" Ginny came to a stop in-front of a tall, crooked, wooden house at the end of the street, "welcome to the Burrow."

Ginny stepped up to the front door and knocked.

"Who is it!" A woman's nervous voice rung out, "declare yourself."

"It's Ginny, Ron, Harry and Lucy," Ginny answered with a huff, "honestly Mum, we've only been gone for about an hour."

The door swung open to reveal a short, plump woman who Lucy immediately associated as Ginny and Ron's Mum.

"You know the protocol, darling, better safe than sorry," she pulled Ginny into a hug, patting her cheek fondly before moving to fuss over Ron.

"Honestly, Ronald, how'd you manage to tear that shirt already! I mended it just yesterday!"

"Sorry, Mum," Ron mumbled, quickly trying to get past her into the house.

"Oh! You must be Lucy!" Mrs. Weasley's eyes softened as she saw the young girl, "my word, you're the spitting image of Lily Evans, just look at you."

Lucy shifted nervously on her feet, "I've been told," she offered a small smile.

"Come in dear! Come in! You can meet everyone!"

She pulled Lucy inside the cozy home and Ginny was quick to whisk her away.

Lucy looked back over her shoulder to see Mrs. Weasley pinching Harry's cheek, a warm smile on his face.

Almost immediately, Lucy knew she was going to love it at the Burrow. She had never been in a house quite like it before, it was so magical, so homely, so warm, she never wanted to leave.

"Lucille!" A mass of blonde hair flew at the girl, "vhat're you doing ere?"

"Fleur?" Lucy laughed, hugged the girl before holding her at an arms length, "I could ask you the same thing. I'm here because of Ginny."

Lucy didn't miss the face Ginny made at the French girl.

"Je suis fiancé!" Fleur excitedly showed Lucy her hand, where a small diamond band was on her ring finger.

"You're engaged!" Lucy squealed, "À qui?"

"Ginny's brother," Fleur smiled, "Bill. Oh! Je ne peux pas te dire à quel point je suis heureuse de pouvoir parler français maintenant, personne ne me comprend."

"I can imagine," Lucy gave a sympathetic smile, she could relate to not being able to speak your native language because you wouldn't be understood. "Your English is getting so much better!"

"Really?" Fleur smiled appreciatively, "I work part time at Gringotts for my Eenglish."

"It's improved a lot," Lucy nodded, "how is Gabrielle?"

"She es wonderful!" Fleur nodded energetically, "she will be ery jealous I got to see you!"

"Ok, we go now," Ginny rudely grabbed Lucy by the arm and dragged her up the stairs.

"Ginny!" Lucy eyes widened, Fleur's face visibly fell. "I'll catch up with you later Fleur! We must have lunch and catch up!"

Fleur clapped and smiled, "Oui! oui! Nous devons!"

"Bye!" Lucy waved, yanking her arm away from Ginny.

She followed the redhead up the stairs, closing the door behind them as they entered a small, pale pink room.

"What is the matter with you?" Lucy gaped at her friend, "that was so unnecessarily rude."

"Unnecessary!" Ginny's nostrils flared, "try living with that sorry excuse of a human! She's miserable! Honestly, so full of herself, driving all of us mad...Merlin I can't believe my brother is marrying such a cow!"
