Lucy threw her practice gear on her bed with a groan.

Her head of auburn hair was still damp from the shower, and the hair on her arms stood up, as it was getting increasingly colder in the Gryffindor tower. It was to the point now where she couldn't wear shorts and a tank top around her dormitory without being uncomfortably chilly.

"Bugger," she swore as she opened the draw of her nightstand. What used to be her top secret candy stash was now nothing more than a collection of wrappers.

She sighed and took the wrappers out of the drawer, throwing them into the trash.

"Where is she?" Lucy huffed, looking over to Ginny's empty bed, "we have detention in ten minutes!"

She stomped over to the door, pulled it open slightly and stuck her head through the crack.

"GINEVRA WEASLEY! HAS ANYONE SEEN GINEVRA WEASLEY?"

Several doors opened and heads poked out.

"What're you yelling about?" Hermione asked, "we're trying to study."

"Have you seen Ginny? She didn't walk back with me after practice and we have detention in ten minutes."

"Harry and Ron said she was snogging Dean in the shortcut behind that tapestry." Hermione said.

"Harry saw her snogging Dean?" Lucy cringed, "how'd he take that?"

"Oh, hold on," Hermione huffed, stepping into the hallway.

She entered Lucy's dorm and closed the door behind her.

"You know?" Hermione asked.

"What?" Lucy gave her a look, "know Harry has feelings for Ginny? Of course I do, she has feelings for him too."

"But she's with Dean!" Hermione said.

"And?" Lucy shrugged, "can't help feelings, Mione."

"Yeah, yeah, just I feel horribly for Dean...and for Harry," Hermione groaned, "it's killing him."

"I know," Lucy frowned, "but they're going to have to figure it out themselves, we can't do it for them."

"But what if we just—"

"No. Hermione." Lucy snapped, "we will not be doing anything, understand?"

"But Lucy..."

"Hermione!" Lucy snapped, "I told you that you had to stop babying Harry! You can't do everything for him! He's a big kid, he'll figure his feelings out, and when he does, he'll have to decide what to do about them. That's up to him, Hermione, not me, not you, so do us all a favor and butt out of it for the love of Merlin."

"Don't patronize me," Hermione said shrilly, "I was the only one that looked out for Harry before you! You walked into our lives a year ago and took control over everything!"

"Merlin, Hermione," Lucy pinched the bridge of her nose, "you're not his Mum! I love you but you're such a pain in the arse. Harry's my brother, and to be honest, I wouldn't say I'm the controlling one."

"What're you implying?" Hermione crossed her arms.

"I don't have time for this," Lucy checked her watch, "do me a favor and remind Ginny she has detention when she gets back, I've got to go, I'm picking up Sawyer."

Lucy didn't give her the chance to say anything, "bye, Mione!" She called, pulling the door closed behind her.

She was quick to get out of the Gryffindor tower, going down the seven fights of stairs and finally stopping infront of the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room.
