"Severus! What's happened?" Madam Pomfrey rushed towards them.

"We believe Dark Magic has been used on Ms. Evans and Mr. Potter," Snape said.

"What?" Madam Pomfrey gasped, "by who?"

"Dolores," Snape rolled his eyes.

Madam Pomfrey covered her mouth with her hands, "come on your poor dears, let's get you beds."

She led Lucy and Harry to the end of the wing.

"It's their hands," Snape said, "some sort of quill was used."

"I've never heard of this before," Madam Pomfrey said, inspecting the engravings on their hands.

"Nor have I," Snape frowned, "I may have something to help in my office." With a swish of his black cloak, he left the wing.

"I can't believe you just did that," Harry shook his head.

"Did what?" Lucy looked at him.

"Everything! You drew your wand on Umbridge, yelled at Dumbledore!" Harry laughed.

Lucy shrugged, "I stand up for what I believe in, and Merlin, I was not raised to sit around and let others walk all over me."

"Wicked," Harry smiled.

Madam Pomfrey drew the curtains around their separate beds and just like that, Harry and Lucy's conversation was over.

"Lucy! Are you alright?" Sawyer burst through the curtains around the girl's bed.

"Mr. Thorton! I'm afraid I can't permit visitors right now!" Madam Pomfrey shrieked.

"Oh, Poppy, I'm afraid you're not going to be able to get rid of him," Dumbledore chuckled, the door closing behind him.

"Headmaster!" Madam Pomfrey fumed, "I'm afraid I must insist!"

"Mr. Thorton will do more good than bad, Poppy," Dumbledore said, "he has a way of keeping Ms. Evans calm."

Lucy snorted, "you hear that?" She turned to Sawyer, "you keep me from going berserk."

Sawyer laughed, "that is my job, is it not?"

Lucy gave him a fond smile.

"What happened?" He whispered, "Umbridge won't stop screaming in the corridors."

Lucy pulled up her bandages and showed him her cut.

I must obey the rules

"Umbridge did that?" Sawyer gaped.

Lucy nodded grimly.

"Ms. Evans," Dumbledore pulled back the curtains, "how're you feeling?"

"I'm fine," Lucy said.

"The Minister is on his way," Dumbledore sighed, "I would assume he would like to speak to you."

"Fine," Lucy groaned.

"I have to go check on Harry," Albus said before ducking back out of the curtains.

"Oh, Merlin," Sawyer shook his head, "Aberforth is going to freak."

Lucy giggled, "I'm surprised he hasn't stormed in here already."

"He's going to kill that woman," Sawyer laughed, "that'll be a sight."

"It will," Lucy yawned.

"Are you tired?" Sawyer asked, looking at her in concern.

"Just a little," Lucy shrugged, "I was out really late last night." She scooted over on the white bed to make room for him.
