"Maybe someone stole it?"

"Who'd steal the map?"

"You guys have a map of Hogwarts?" Lucy came down the staircase with her school bag thrown across her shoulder, "Merlin, I need one of those, do you think I can borrow it?"

Harry, Ron and Hermione jumped and broke apart.

"N-no," Harry stammered, startled, "we don't have a map of Hogwarts."

"Bummer," Lucy sighed, sitting down in an armchair, "I keep getting lost. Hogwarts has a very confusing layout, Beauxbatons is much more simplistic."

"Do you regret coming here?" Harry looked genuinely curious.

"Oh, no!" Lucy smiled, "I love it here, I'm much closer to my family and I don't have to speak French."

They watched her curiously as she flattened out her parchment and opened her textbook.

"Why aren't you at dinner?" Hermione eyes narrowed as she eyed the younger girl suspiciously.

"McGonagall's assigned a twenty-inch essay," Lucy said aloud, "I was never the best a writing, why aren't you lot at dinner?"

"I'm behind on my homework," Harry sighed, "Ron and Hermione are helping me catch up."

"How're you already behind?" Lucy frowned, "classes only started four days ago."

"Detention," Hermione said briskly, "he's had detention with Umbridge every night this week."

Lucy cringed, "how'd you manage to get detention with that toad?"

Ron stifled a laugh.

"I called her a liar," Harry said, checking his watch, he began to pack his books away, "she told me Voldemort was not back and it was just a story I've made up for attention."

"Rubish," Lucy didn't flinch at the mention of Voldemort's name, "anyone who believes the ministry and the daily prophet is daft."

Harry gave her a small smile, Hermione's frown deepened.

"I better be going," Harry groaned, "I don't want to be late."

"See you, mate," Ron waved after him.

Lucy turned her attention back down to her textbook when Harry had gone. She could still feel Hermione and Ron's eyes on her as she began to write.

Lucy walked into the portrait hole in a horrible mood late Sunday evening.

She had been studying in the library in an attempt to keep out of the way of Ginny and her boyfriend, Micheal Corner.  She had lost track of time and ended up staying out past curfew, she was found my none other than Umbridge and sentenced to detention the next day.

She opened the door to the common room quietly and froze in the doorway. Hermione, Harry and Ron were  crouching in front of the fireplace, speaking in hushed tones.

"Guys?" Lucy furrowed her eyebrows.

The three of them jumped and with panicked faces spun around to see her.

"What're you doing?" Lucy asked, she looked at the fireplace and took a step back in shock, a man's head was floating amiss the flames.

"Evans?" The man breathed, his face scrunched and his nose twitched.

"Who are you?" Lucy frowned, approaching the fireplace.

Ron, Harry and Hermione slid infront of the fire to block her view.
