"What's going on?" Draco asked, standing besides Aberforth and Lucy, "is everything alright?"

Lucy shared a look with Inigo and reached for Draco's hand, squeezing it reassuringly, she didn't know whether she did it for him or herself.

"Everything's fine, Son," Aberforth said with a forced smile, "nothing to worry about."

"Why is everyone here?" Draco dropped his voice to talk to Lucy, "why're we here?"

"Do we really think it wise to have the boy here?" Kingsley said, eyeing Draco suspiciously.

"Now don't go starting that shite," Aberforth warned, placing a protective hand on Draco's shoulder, "he's a good lad with his head on right, don't be blaming him for his family's wrongdoings."

"My apologies," Kingsley nodded, "I'm not aware of this particular situation I'm afraid."

"We can vouch for him," Lucy said.

"But who can vouch for you?" A woman asked.

"Enough!" Aberforth roared, "I will not have you lot attacking my kids! They are children, they do not need to do shit for any one of you, they're helping because they want to. That should be an accurate judge of character in itself."

"Your kids?" Moody raised and eyebrow.

"My kids," Aberforth said in a warning tone.

"Mr. Malfoy," Dumbledore began, "I'm afraid we have reasoning to believe that there will be an attack on the castle in the near future as well as the fact that you will be amongst the targeted. Our priority is to keep you well and safe, if you are aware of this situation, it would be in your best interest to let us know."

"Attack?" Draco's eyes widened, "by the Death Eaters?"

"Yes," Dumbledore nodded, "as it seems, our suspicions were correct, another took over your task when you....deferred. Do you know who that may be? Mr. Malfoy?"

Draco shook his head, "I don't, sir."

"If you will, Mr. Malfoy, please inform everyone who may not know; what  was your assignment?"

Draco's eyes widened and he looked at Abe hesitantly.

"Go on," Aberforth nodded.

Draco frowned and turned back to Dumbledore, "my task was to kill you, sir."

There were multiple gasps through out the room, the majority staring at the Headmaster in horror.

"Albus! You were aware of this!" Moody hissed, "why haven't we done anything."
