"Luce! Lucy! Over here!"

Lucy looked around but she was standing in a close to empty corridor.

"Oh for Merlin's sake," an arm reached out and dragged her into a classroom.

"Don't scream it's just me."

"Draco Malfoy!" Lucy fumed, "don't do that!"

"Sorry, sorry," he held up his hands in defense, "I've been waiting for you to pass for like twenty minutes."

Lucy shot a look, "that's not creepy or anything..."

Draco blushed, "I'm sorry."

"It's alright," Lucy shrugged, hoisting herself to sit on one of the desks, "so why'd you drag me in here?"

"He's in jail! Lucy he's in jail!"

"Who's in jail?"

"My dad!" Draco was bouncing on the balls of his feet, "apparently he had a trial, we didn't know because we don't get the prophet at the pub but he's in jail!"

"That's brilliant, Draco!" Lucy smiled, pulling the blond in for a hug.

"I feel like I can breathe," Draco relaxed in her embrace, "he can't get me."

"I'm surprised it took them that long," Lucy rolled her eyes, "the rest of them went to Azkaban immediately, didn't they?"

Draco nodded, "money, his money got him a trial and then more money kept on getting it postponed, I'm surprised he didn't buy out the entire wizengamot."

"How're the Slytherin's treating you?" Lucy asked, kicking her dangling feet.

Draco shrugged, "some of them aren't talking to me, others don't care, nothing too bad...we're Slytherins, in the end we protect our own."

"That's good to hear."

"Aw, we're you worried about me?" Draco teased.

"You wish, Malfoy," Lucy laughed.

"Are you done for the day?" Draco asked, checking his watch.

Lucy shook her head, "I have astronomy later."

"I've always liked astronomy," Draco commented, "I studied it way before I came to Hogwarts. I'm named after a constellation, you know?"

"I figured," Lucy grinned, "why else name a kid Draco of all names?"

"Now you're teasing," Draco pouted.

"Don't dish it if you can't take it," Lucy shook her head, "that seems like a fatal flaw of yours."

"You wound me, Lucille Evans," he said dramatically, grabbing his chest.

Lucy gave him a fond smile, pinching his cheek before jumping down from the desk.

"I've got to go see if Sawyer is alright, Ron told me he didn't feel well, I'll catch up with you later?"

Draco nodded, "tell him hi for me."

"Will do," Lucy waved, "by ferret!"

"Lucy!!!" Draco whined.

She shook with laughter as she closed the door, leaving the Slytherin alone.

"Hi, Madam Pomfrey!" Lucy greeted brightly as she entered the crisp, white, Hospital Wing.

"Ms. Evans," the mediwitch gave a curt wave, "looking for Mr. Thorton, I presume."

"Yes, ma'am."
