"You're cutting the apples wrong!" Lucy complained.

"How am I cutting them wrong?" Sawyer frowned.

"You have to peel them first, it makes no sense to peel them after you slice them!" Lucy groaned, "this is why you don't help."

"Lucille, be nice," Aberforth scolded, "Sawyer can help if he wants to help."

"But he's going to mess it up!"

"For the last time! I'm not going to mess it up!" Sawyer said in a frustrated tone.

"Fine," Lucy huffed, "but stop massacring the apples, go make the batter instead."

Sawyer glared at her as he dropped the apple he was holding.

"Abe, we're out of milk," Sawyer said.

"Hold on," Aberforth shook his head, "I'll go see if we have any in the back room."

He wiped his hands on a rag and left the apartment.

"What're we baking?" An unfamiliar voice came from behind the teens.

Both of them jumped, startled, and drew their wands at the intruder.

"Oh! My bad, I didn't been to frighten you guys," a young woman with bubblegum pink hair stepped out of the fireplace, brushing the soot off her clothes.

"Tonks?" Sawyer's eyes widened, "what're you doing here?"

"Is that little Sawyer Thorton? Nobody told me you'd be here? How's it going?"

"Good," Sawyer blushed.

"What're you here for?" Lucy narrowed her eyes.

"I need to speak to Aberforth," Tonks turned to the short redhead, "is he here?"

"He went to get milk, he'll be back in a couple minutes," Sawyer answered.

"Brilliant," Tonks smiled, tripping over the carpet as she went to sit at their counter, "whoops, lost my footing there," she shot them a crooked grin.

"Got it!" Aberforth announced as he opened the door. He froze as he saw Tonks at the counter.

"Nymphadora, what do we owe the pleasure?" Aberforth grunted, placing the milk carton on the counter.

"Your brother sent me," Tonks grimaced at her full name, "he's having a conference with Remus Lupin and Sirius Black and would like you to attend. He told me you'd know what it was about."

The corners of Aberforth's eyes creased as a deep frown grew on his face, "he's telling them and he didn't even discuss it with me first," he muttered under his breath.

After pausing for a moment, he looked back up at Tonks, "Very well, when?"

"Uh," Tonks fiddled with the necklace around her neck, "now?"

"Ah," Aberforth waved his hand, "tell my brother he'll have to wait, I'm spending time with my family."

"Well, you see..." Tonks hesitated, "Sirius is out of control, he's demanding to know the truth now."

"Bloody hell," Aberforth grumbled, "fine," he turned to Sawyer and Lucy, "sorry guys, you're going to have to finish the donuts without me."

"It's ok," Lucy gave a small smile, "you'll be home for dinner?"

"Of course, darling," Aberforth kissed her forehead, "it's Christmas Eve, I wouldn't miss it."

"See ya two!" Tonks waved as she walked towards the fireplace, "it was nice seeing you, Tiny Thorton... although, you're not so small anymore..."
