"You may go back in, Lucy," Albus smiled kindly, holding the door open for the short girl.
"Thank you," Lucy said sincerely, rushing back over to Sawyer's bed.
"Lucy! Happy Christmas," Sawyer smiled at her.
Lucy froze, "what?"
"Happy Christmas!" Sawyer repeated.
"Sawyer, it's October," Lucy frowned.
"Oh, well in that case, Happy Halloween!"
Lucy turned to Madam Pomfrey, "is he alright?"
Madam Pomfrey looked at Lucy, her confusion matching the redhead's, "I didn't see any injuries to his head but I might have to check again and make sure I didn't miss anything."
Lucy nodded, "what were you going to tell me? Sawyer?"
"Hmm?" Sawyer looked up from fiddling with his sheets, "I dunno, what?"
Lucy's frown deepened, "you don't remember?"
"No," Sawyer shook his head gleefully, "come sit with me," he patted the space beside him on the crisp, white, sheets.
Lucy gave him a weird look as she climbed up next to him, careful not to lean in any of his injuries.
"What did Albus say to you?" Lucy asked, grabbing his hand.
"Albus?" Sawyer turned his head to look at her, "he was here?"

"Hey, where'd you go?" Lucy asked as she entered her dorm. Madam Pomfrey had made her leave the Hospital Wing so she could get some rest.
"I left after you fell asleep," Ginny said, "I thought I would be imposing if I were there when he woke up."
Lucy nodded, "he woke up a few hours ago, he's not really acting like himself though."
"Do you know what happened?" Ginny asked.
"We don't know for sure but they think he got attacked by the Acromantula that live in the Forest," Lucy sighed, "I don't know why he was in the Forest to begin with, without his wand too!"
Ginny shook her head, "I'm just glad they found him. How'd you know where he was?"
"I had a dream," Lucy said, pulling on a fresh pair of nightclothes, "it was strange, it felt so real."
"Well I'm glad you had it," Ginny snorted, "you probably saved Sawyer's life."
Lucy hummed in response. She didn't want to think of what would've happened if they didn't find Sawyer when they did.

"We brought snacks," Lucy and Aberforth entered the Hospital Wing the next morning.
"Sawyer, my boy!" Aberforth gave a hearty laugh, pulling the boy into a hug, "don't you ever do that again, you hear! You scared the everloving shite out of us!"
"Ah, I'll try not to, Abe," Sawyer laughed, returning the older man's embrace.
Color had returned to his face and he looked heaps better, a healthy red was brushed on his lightly freckled cheeks, and his eyes had regained a familiar gleam.
