Not wanting to go to bed just then, Lucy decided to sit by the fire and write a letter to Aberforth.
Dear Uncle Abe,
Hogwarts is good so far! The professors have been acting slightly strange around me but besides that everything is going smoothly. I like my classes and I've even made a friend! Her name is Ginny Weasley.
Sawyer gives his best, write back soon, XOXO
-Lucy"Hi," a girl's voice came from besides Lucy.
"Hello," she said, turning to face the speaker. It was a girl with brown, bushy hair accompanied by two boys.
"I'm Hermione Granger," she stuck out her arm.
"Oh, you three were the ones eavesdropping on me and my friend on the train," Lucy shook the girl's hand.
She had to stifle a laugh as the three of them went red to their ears.
"Sorry about that," Hermione grimaced.
"I'm not very exciting, I don't know what you expected to hear. If you had a question you could've just asked me," Lucy smiled but her eyes hardened.
The boy on her left cleared his throat, "I'm Harry, that's Ron."
"Pleasure," Lucy said. If this was a few days prior, she would've been giddy meeting the Harry Potter. However, she had lost some of her admiration for him when he tried to spy on her not once, but twice in an hour.
"So, what's your name?" Hermione sat down on the couch across from her.
"Lucy," she replied, trying not to roll her eyes, they obviously already knew that, "I'm sorry, but can I help you lot with anything in particular? It's getting late and I want to mail this letter, it's been a long day."
"We were wondering how you got here," Harry spoke up.
"Uhm...the train," Lucy looked at them, "you saw me on it."
"No," Hermione huffed, "what Harry was trying to say is how'd you become a student at Hogwarts? You weren't here last year?"
"I went to Beauxbatons, I'm a transfer student," Lucy answered.
"You've met Dumbledore?" Ron asked.
Hermione wacked his arm, "of course she's met Dumbledore! How do you think she got sorted or transferred her transcript."
"I've known Albus for ages," Lucy yawned, standing up, "I live with his brother."
Three pairs of eyes widened as she began to walk towards the stairs, "goodnight guys."

"They're all staring again," Lucy whispered to her two friends over breakfast.
Ginny looked over to the Head Table, "this is so weird," she grumbled, "no offense, Luce, but I don't understand why people are so interested in you."
"Me either," Sawyer added.
"I don't know," Lucy buttered her toast, "but I'd like to eat breakfast without being gawked at like a zoo animal."
"What's a zoo?" Ginny asked.
"Never mind," Lucy laughed, "what's our first class today?"
"Double Defense Against the Dark Arts, it's with that new Professor, Umbridge," Ginny looked at their schedule.
"I heard she was horrid," Sawyer said, they looked up at the toad-like woman sitting at the head table.
"Well that's no surprise," Ginny snorted, "did you hear her at the feast?"
