After you had inquired that question, his once emotionless gaze turned into a ferocious stare.

One made to intimidate and not hide one's feelings.

One made to make you nervous and shake in your seat in both fear and submission.

"Human?"  He questioned with a low bellow, leaning forward as he continued to gaze dangerously at my own orbs.

I gazed at him with confusion before backing away from him, seeing him grow closer to me, slowly.

"Do not fool me..." he said once more before stopping in his spot, mere inches away from me.

I swore I could see his eyes burning like flames as I continued to lean backwards, my back soon meeting the wall behind me.

The stinging sensation grow, as the wound on my back has yet decided to heal.

"You are anything else but human" he finally said.

The both of us growing silent as the once calm atmosphere was now filled with nothing but a treacherous tension blanketing us.

The tension was thick and heavy as I could feel my breath start to grow heavy under his stare.

My eyes widened in a panic as I tried my best to stay calm.

The pit of my stomach started to turn, as I continued to remain frozen in front of him.

That was before he leaned back with a small, almost unnoticeable sigh, his gaze now turning back to his emotionless facade.

"Gomen'nasai..." he said, bowing his head a bit before he turned to look at the sun rays that fell at the entrance of the cave.

He stood up, aiming to go towards the sun before he disappeared without a trace.

I still sat there, in a daze myself before I realized that he was gone, letting out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

'What kind of mockery is this?' you thought, scowling to yourself as your brows furrowed in frustration.

Kokushibo knew very well I won't be able to stand and run while in this state.

He knew very well of this fact and decided to use it to his advantage.

Sighing, I simply tried leaning sidewards against the cave of the walls, carving random scribbles and drawings on the walls with a piece of rock I found on the ground.

After a while, I had grown tired and started to doze off.

As I began to lose consciousness, I can't help but feel like i'm forgetting something...

As I opened my eyes, I was met with nothing but the darkness once again.

Though a sense of deja vu hit me as the familiar dark oblivion brought that same sense of unease and terror from before.

"I see we've met again..." a voice, one noticeably filled with malice and spite sounded throught the darkness.

It wasn't only in one place.

I heard it everywhere, as it had also continued to echo.
