Chapter 26

Age: [17 Years Old] [Y/N] [L/N] POV

It hadn't even been a while before I found the same room I had seen from before.

It was unusual, but I didn't mind it, since all I really wanted was to find the room and immediately finding it just makes the job a bit easier.

I shrugged my shoulders and immediately, but gently, opened the shoji and was met with the same incredible sight.

The room was as large, maybe even larger, than Kokushibo's room, and it was surely filled with more things than my own room.

It had these bridge pathways running along from side-to-side, and some running alongside the walls.

It hovered over a beautiful, bright blue pond of the sort.

It had pink lotus floating atop the bond as it shone bright, despite there not being any sort of light.

In the middle of the room, was a flat platform, a hexagonal platform, if I may.

It seemed as if it was the center piece, the stage, of the room.

I began walking towards the center, forgetting to close the shoji behind me as I took small, sow steps.

I had taken in all different parts of the room as it looked absolutely stunning.

The pond below was so calm, to the point it looked like still, frozen ice, but with each step I took, it let out tiny little ripples on the water.

It was so shiny, to the point I can see my face features so clearly.

As I arrived at the middle of the platform, I then leaned over one of the edges of the stage and looked down into the pond.

I knelt down, and reached my hand out as my fingers barely touched the liquid before coldness, freezing air surrounded me.

I immediately retracted my hand and looked towards where the air had first come from.

Only to see familiar rainbow orbs, staring right in front of me.

Right in front of my face, inches away as I froze in immediate terror.

"Ko-n-n-i-chi-wa~"

[THIRD PERSON] POV

-- Meanwhile --

Kokushibo had left, yet again, to go and finish the missions given by him.

It was easy and all, since all he had to do was clear out the demon slayers surrounding a certain area in the forest.

Leaving you in that room, however, made him slightly uneasy yet again.

Yet, he shook it off and continued finishing his own mission.

He grabbed the hilt of his blade, and immediately made eye contact with one of the female slayers as she shook in horror.

Legs trembling, as she held onto the blade, placing it close to her chest.

Her eyes widened, and her pupils shook, with each step he took.

All the other male and female slayers stood aside as they tried to run away and leave her there, only to be immediately be cut down.

"G-Get a-a-away from m-" She had begun, back away as he took steps closer to her.

Kokushibo simply squinted his eyes at her and bellowed "Unsheathe your blade and fight me."

Which immediately made her scream as she simply dropped it on the ground and run.
