"Why can't this fucking thing go through?!" They whispered shouted to themselves as they try to slip one of the cut up bamboos into a hole made into another bamboo.

Their kitsune ears raising upwards as their tails began to grow fuzzier.

"Language," Himejima warned with a slight frown as he continued weaving a singular basket.

They muttered incoherent words underneath their breath before perking up as they managed to pull the bamboo through the hole before going to do it another one.

Which frustrated them to no end.

"What has this got to do with training anyways?" They asked silently, not really expecting an answer from the taller male beside them.

Which was true when they were answered with nothing but silence.

Silence only continued to hover through the air. Ironically, it was deafening.

Before the blind male broke it with a single phrase.

"About that bamboo slicing," He began as he placed the bamboo down and went to grab the wooden blade they had used to slice through the hollow wood.

"I'm sure you understood what I meant when I said 'slice the bamboo'."

They stood silence as their attention slowly started to stray away from the bamboo project they were trying to make.

They looked up at him through their hair.

"Your physical strength without the use of any supernatural abilities."

"Aren't breathing techniques supernatural? Things that make you inhumane?" They dared to ask before continuing to pass through one bamboo through the other and tying it together with a string the male provided.

"Besides, I don't understand what you mean. I never even used my abilities to slice through those things," They denied. "It was merely my normal physical strength."

"Breathing techniques are techniques used to increase one's strength, agility and endurance. It is no inhumane thing, however," He said before pointing at a certain spot in the wood.

They stared at it with eyes that widened a fraction at what he pointed at. "Using blood manipulation to sharpen a blunt blade is surely one of the things I consider inhumane."

The blotchy red spot that rested at the middle of the blade wasn't obvious.

But it was there.

And it wasn't an accident.

"What do you expect?" They chuckled. "Make use of what you have after all."

"Until you run out of blood at the end of battle and die because of blood loss," They raised a brow at the sudden worst case scenario he came up with.

"Training is indeed one of the processes to teach you how to utilize what you have during battle, but training is also to realize what your strengths and weaknesses are and make use of both to make yourself stronger."

"If you are not willing to put in the effort and figure out what your weakness and strengths are, you'll never grow stronger."

They slammed their hands on the wooden tea table in front of them before pointing an accusing finger at him. "I don't need this training, alright?" Their brow twitched in annoyance.

"I didn't ask for this. I don't need to be stronger because I already am strong even without your god damn help."

"And yet, you still have long ways to go before you defeat me," He immediately interrupted with tears flowing down his cheeks.
