Chapter 07

- - A Few Months Later - -

Months have passed ever since the past incident. I'm safe now of course.

And i'm in another abandoned building for the time being.

The building was a few miles away from the village.

And the fact that it's crowded had me worried.

I'm being hunted down, I could get hurt, I could technically get lost, and you never know what a human can do to creatures they've never seen before.

That-

May or may not be the reason as to why i'm afraid of humans now.

====== Flashback ======

After waking up, little Akarui led us to the outside.

Fortunately enough, it was a simple building with a basic dungeon at the back of the building.

Akarui was the one leading since he knew far too well that I have no sense of direction.

Walking out of the building was a pain.

My wounds aren't all treated and I was stuck in that dark place for quite a while.

It basically stung. But i'm fine.

Totally.

Anyways...

After walking out, I began to scan the place and noticed a little village, maybe a few miles from where we're from.

It's the safest bet me and Akarui can make when it includes safety so we began to walk towards this village, with me half-naked.

I was given clothing from Akarui, but that doesn't mean it can fully cover my whole body.

It barely even reached below my arse so I had to divide the cloth I was given into two.

One to cover my breasts (if you even have some) and my exposed arse.

The tails can be covered later on when I find more clothing.

If not, i'll have to stay in the shades for now until I actually find some cloth to cover the rest of my body with.

My ears can technically just hide in my hair so that's not really that much of a problem.

Walking for a bit, my eyes widened, and my mouth curved up into a smile seeing some clothing on the ground in front of me.

As homeless and desperate as I sound, you would've been happy if you found the least bit of clothing when somehow walking into public butt-naked.

I picked up the kimono, I now noticed, and smiled even more, seeing it is completely patched up and looks quite alright.

It is a green kimono, with a few bugs and insect-like designs on the bottom and sides of the kimono.

'Matte...' I thought before dropping the beloved clothing, seeing the insect-like designs (Well what I thought were designs) began crawling onto my hand.

"EEK-!" I squealed before shivering, shaking my hand up and down to get rid of the bugs and shouted again and again "Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!!"
