Age: [17 years old] [Y/N] [L/N] POV

"W-What...?" I mustered up the courage to mutter out as I continued to stare wide-eyed at the oni in front of me.

'How does he know my name...?'

"Your...[Y/N], correct?" He questioned, slowly shutting the shoji behind him, all the while making the atmosphere feel more tense than before.

I couldn't say the same for him though.

'Did Kokushibo tell him?'

I nodded, slowly and carefully, not knowing what he has in store.

Whether it be for me or for someone else, I just want to get out of here.

"Do you perhaps..." he had slowly begun, kneeling down on the ground with a knee raised up as he leaned an elbow down onto the raised knee.

"...remember me?"

I froze, at what he had just said, as silence continued to surround us.

'Remember him?'

That's when my memories had suddenly begun to get blurry, as the only things I could see are...forms.

With even more human-like figures with a green and brown background.

"[Y/N]-san! Come play with us!"

"No..." I whispered out, shaking my head, as I continued to make eye contact with his own kanji carved eye.

"Who...exactly are you?"

My heart dropped.

"Smile for me [Y/N]-chan!"

'Why can't I suddenly remember a single thing?'

[THIRD PERSON] POV

-- A Few Days Later --

"I apologize Akarui, but if he does not want to help us, and it's been a few hours since she's gone, we may as well give up on this search and consider her dead"

A voice said, gentle but stern as her eyes slightly squinted at the bird in front of her.

Akarui had been restless and had been disturbing and barging in on them most of the times, ultimately becoming a distraction to both demons as they worked.

"She's dead Akarui-"

"if you want to search for the eyesore, search her yourself. We're done with all this play" Yushiro had intervened, shooing the bird away with a scowl on his face as Tamayo could do nothing but sigh and get back to work.

Despite the cold demeanour he had put up, he himself, grew worried the more the hours had passed by.

"Get out you foolish bird!" Yushiro then shouted, then immediately shooing the bird away, slightly hesitant, before pushing himself to do so.

The pure black tori simply scratched him and cawed at the action, which annoyed Yushiro more, as he continued to thrash around the place.

"Damn it you- Just fucking go already!" Yushiro had finally shouted in frustration before seeing him fly out the shoji and into the sky.

Far away from anyone's view and sight.

"Yushiro!" Tamayo had finally spoken up from her slightly frozen state as she looked at Yushiro with sad eyes.
