"Why do they keep sending this lower ranked slayers our way?" They muttered in slight frustration, furrowing their brows at the many slayers they were able to bring down.

Bloody, sliced, mutilated to the point it can't be identified as what you'd normally see as a body.

"They'll regret underestimating me" They grumbled before jumping off the ground and onto a branch in a tree, sensing another batch of slayers coming their way.

Their tails swaying slightly in the wind as the stood above the trees and continued inspecting the puny humans from below.

Their bright purple eyes glowing, the moon reflecting its own shine in their orbs before they closed their eyes and let themselves fall forward.

"Galaxy Breathing, First Form..." Muttering a breath form under their breath as their lips curled into a small grin.

"Hydra's Beast!"

Slashing down onto the ground, using the momentum they had used from falling before creating one large crater, just where they had landed on.

Soon hearing the loud cries and shouts for help, desperate to be spared as they were unable to dodge the sudden attack they had been given.

The once arrow-like heads that fell from the sky, now resembled the figure of a mighty starry beast.

"Hydra is a very interesting name for a constellation," They muttered, closing their eyes before standing up from their spot, looking towards the moon that seemed to like showing them its gleaming glow.

"Don't you think so too?"

They said, the grin they held falling down her face and out of sight as it is replaced with pursed lips.

"Had they actually sent one to hunt me down?" They questioned themselves in a sort of one-sided conversation, gripping onto the hilt of their blade tightly before squinting their purple orbs at a random spot in a bush.

The silence wasn't unbearable, but even without knowing if there was someone there or not, nature was able to intense the already tense atmosphere as it felt thicker, heavier on their body.

But after a while of staring into nothingness, they rose a brow and stood upright, sheathing their blade in their scabbard before sighing.

"Was I actually mistaken?" Looking down towards the ground before turning her body in another direction.

"Dance of the bee sting: True Flutter," Eyes slightly widening at the sudden presence that had made themselves visible before parrying their own blade, clashing metal against metal as sparks flew through the air.

"I'd already expected multiple high ranked slayers, kinoe ranked slayers being sent my way..." They muttered before adding a bit more force into the parry, pushing the female away before repositioning the grip of their blade in hand. "...But sending a hashira so soon?"

"Why are they suddenly so desperate to kill me when I've done nothing wrong?"

"Please speak up young one!" The female said, cupping a mouth over her mouth as her pale purple eyes stared into their own dark purple ones.

"Young?" They uttered, repeating the word she'd just said before scoffing and raising their blade. "I'm taller than you, you damn insect"

Tails slightly twitching, but only remaining limp as it is not really that much needed in battle, and it might only end up becoming even more useless than before.
