It’s quiet. Adam is walking towards the school, not saying a word. Only thinking about Connie.
How am I gonna get her back? Where was she taken to? What the hell do these people want? These thoughts flood Adam’s mind.
Without even realizing it he’s already at the school gate.
“Oh. School..right.” Adam mumbled as he walked inside the building.
As Adam is walking towards his class he overhears some conversations with other students.
“I heard he told her to never come back here.” One student said.
“What the hell did he do to her?” Another student said. The fuck..?
Who are they talking about? Adam walks to his class and everyone looks up at him with this look of fear and anger.
“The hell are you all looking at? Go back to whatever you were doing.” Adam said.
The students flinch and continue doing their look.
The hell man.. Adam sits at his desk waiting for the day to start.
“Hey.” Luke said walking up to Adam’s desk. “Oh hey.” Adam said.
“You..doing alright?” Luke asked. “No. I just got Connie back and now she’s gone. Then I heard people talking about “him”, and once I walked in here everyone looked at me.” Adam said.
“Ohhh..yeah..about that.” Luke said. “What?” Adam said.
“I asked some students what they were talking about and they said that there’s a rumor going around that you forced Connie to leave the school.” Luke said.
“The hell?!” Adam said. “I asked who made up the rumor but they said they didn’t know.” Luke said.
Adam forms a fist, anger starts to boil inside him.
“Damn it..this is not what I need today...I’d never do that to her..” Adam said.
“I know. But apperently they don’t know what really happened. Assholes. Anyway, We’re gonna continue looking for Connie after school. Alright?” Luke asked.
“Okay.” Adam formed a small smile which is real.
At this point, the teacher walks inside the classroom.
“Alright settle down everyone.” The teacher said.
The student kept quiet and waited for the teacher to start speaking.
“Now as you all may know. The festival is now over, and I hope everyone had the time of their lives! Also, the new year is right around the corner, in just a few weeks. Crazy!” The teacher said.
“Alright time to start the day, Pelse turn to page..” The teacher started saying.
As everyone opens their books but Adam can’t focus today..he only has one thing on his mind.

“Ah there’s the bell, Alright class see you tomorrow. Enjoy your lunch!” The teacher said waving bye to all the students.
Adam grabs his bag and walks out of the class and towards the lunch area.
“Ay wait up!” Luke said. “Oh, sorry man.” Adam chuckles.
“Got lost in your thoughts?” Luke asked.
“Yeah.” Adam said. “Hey ignore these people. They're just humans who like to follow.” Luke said.
