Chapter 11: Talk To Me..

Everyone is in shock as to what they've just seen. "What the fuck.." Luke said. "She just kissed him outta nowhere.." Brittany said. 

In the blink of an eye, Connie pushes Amber away from Adam. "He doesn't like that," Connie says in sign. 

"And just who are you?" Amber asked. "Her name is Connie.." Adam said. "Connie, huh? Well, Connie. I don't know what you're doing with your hands, but you're in my way, my man." Amber said. 

"She's deaf...And just so we're clear, I'm not yours anymore, Now after the shit you pulled." Adam said. 

"Baby...All those men I dated were nothing to me; You're the only one!" Amber said, walking towards Adam with a kissy face. 

 Connie pulls Adam towards her and hugs him tightly. "D-Don't get near him!" Connie said in sign. 

"C-Connie," Adam said. Amber tilted her head, observing them. "How interesting! " Amber smiled. "What the hell are you smiling about?" Brittany asked. 

Amber laughs, "Oh, nothing! Nothing at all. Come now, Cyrus. I just learned something very new today.." Amber said. 

"Yes, Your Majesty!!" Cyrus said. "I have a high feeling that we'll all see each other again soon. Bye for now!" Amber smiles. 

With that, Amber and Cyrus started walking away. "So that's it? Damn... I wanted to kick her ass." Brittany said. 

"That bitch..Who does she think she is just coming up out of nowhere." Luke said."Hey Adam..You alright?" Luke asked. 

"U-Uh. Yea. I'm fine. Thanks, guys," Adam said. Heh. It seems like someone won't let go of you," Luke said, pointing to Connie. 

Adam looks down and sees Connie still hugging him. "Connie?" Adam said in sign. "N-No! I..I wanna stay like this...Just for a bit longer." Connie says in sign.

Adam smiles and embraces her. "Me too...But for right now, we gotta go back home. We'll finish this later, alright?" Adam says in a sign. Connie looks up at Adam and smiles. "Alright...!" Connie says in a sign. 

The group left the mall and continued toward their houses. "So what's with Amber? Why is she here?" Luke asked. 

"I don't know...But if she's here, then it can't be good." Adam said. "And that guy that was with her...Cyrus, she called him," Connie said in sign. 

"It was like he was her lapdog or something," Brittany said in a sign. Yeah, he looks creepy," Luke said. 

"In any case, that shouldn't bring down our spirits. We have a school trip coming up tomorrow, so let's have fun before we all leave!" Adam said. 

"Yeah!" everyone said. "Since the trip is happening tomorrow, do you want to sleep over? That way, we can all walk together and be there before the buses leave," Adam asked. 

"It seems fine with me. I haven't had one of those in a while, so it'll be fun!" Luke said. "I'm down," Brittany said. 

"Me too!" Connie smiles. You three do realize that you need to ask your parents, right?" Adam says. 

Everyone stares at each other, they all pull out their phones and call their parents. Adam sighs and laughs. 

"God, I love this group," Adam said. "We heard that! No, not you, mom." Luke said after a couple of minutes on the phone. 

They all put them back in their pockets. "Well?" Adam said, waiting for an answer. "My folks are okay with it," Luke said. 

"They're fine with it," Brittany said. My parents said it's fine," Connie said in the sign. Awesome! This is gonna be great. Follow me to my house," Adam said.
