"Hey, wake up, man," Luke said, shaking Adam. "Mmm, five more minutes, Mom," Adam said.
Luke smirked, "Honey, if you don't get up you'll miss Connie, She's downstairs eating right now." Luke said in an impression of Adam's mom.
"HUH?! I'M WAKING UP RIG- oh.." Adam said, looking at Luke. Luke started laughing, "Don't say a word." Adam said.
"You should've seen your face! Hahahah.. Oh fuck..Man, that was funny." Luke said. "You ass. Why'd you do that?" Adam asked.
"Cause I saw an opportunity and took it," Luke said. "Ha. Very funny, ha ha." Adam said. "Like how you're gonna take the opportunity today and tell her," Luke said, patting Adam's back.
"Yeah, I know. What about you, huh?" Adam asked. "Oh, I'll ask her, although I think she already knows." Luke laughed.
"Is that so?" Adam asked. "Yeah, I mean, I have a nickname. If that isn't love, I don't know what is." Luke said.
I'm pretty sure that's not how that goes, but sure. "Anyway, what are we doing today?" Adam asked.
"We're learning how to make a fire!" The teacher said. "Jeez! Why do you come around at random times?" Luke said.
"Alright, everyone, listen up. Today is the final day of the trip. I hope you all had fun. But we're not done just yet. Today, we're going to learn how to survive in the wild!" the teacher said.
"Seriously? " a student said. "I just got new shoes. I don't wanna walk in mud!" another student said.
"Hm. It seems like your students aren't fond of doing this. Perhaps I can leave you with Mrs. Bonnet, " the teacher said.
"NO, NO, NO! We're fine with making fire!" the students said. "That's what I thought." The teacher laughed.
"How dare he threaten us!" Luke said. Who's the teacher he just mentioned?" Adam asked. "You never heard of Mrs. Bonnet?! Well, it's said that that teacher was very strict with her students, making sure they were in line," Luke said.
"I feel a 'but' coming," Adam said. But she retired a while back, so our teacher tricks the students. Pretty funny, right?" Luke asked.
"You fell for it, you know," Adam said. That's not the point!" Luke said. Adam laughed. " Are you ready to go?" Adam asked.
Luke nodded, and everyone walked out of the building. "Alright, everyone. We're going to be paired into groups. Pick three people, and then next, I'll tell you what to do, " the teacher said.
"Adam! Over here!" Brittany waved. Adam and Luke walked over to the girls. "Hey guys," Luke said.
"Hey! Did you guys sleep well last night?" Brittany asked. Adam yawned, "Eh," Adam said. "When will you ever not get tired?" Connie said in a sign.
"Honestly? Never." Adam said in a sign, laughing. "So you guys ready to make a fire?" Luke asked. The group nodded in excitement.
"Alright! Luke, you grab sticks." Adam said. "On it," Luke said as he wandered off to get sticks. "Brittany, you grab rocks to surround the fire so it won't spread," Adam said.
"Got it!" Brittany said. And Connie, grab rocks that look sharp to you," Adam said in a sign.
"Alright! But what are you gonna do?" Connie asks in sign language. "I'm going to gather leaves for fuel, " Adam says in sign language. Connie nods and starts gathering rocks.
-A FEW MINUTES LATER-
Everyone grabbed what they could find and went back to where they had separated. " Have you got everything?" Luke asked.
