*"Where are you going and is anyone amongst your company declared as a doctor or physician."*

The others didn't even know a question was asked due to such a demanding tone from the foreigner. Yoongi remained cool, other than the tight grip he had on the reins of the horse, knuckles white.

*"Is it really any of your business where we are going? No doctors amongst us, except Jisoo here's minor knowledge on herbs. May we pass?"*

The Manchu leader didn't seem pleased with his answer and therefore, unsheathed his sword, raising it towards Yoongi.

*"I suggest you tell us where you're going or else you're coming with us."

Yoongi narrowed his eyes. *"On whose orders?"*

*"The people of Manchuria, the rightful king Taiji, The Qing."*

Yoongi scoffed. *"You're on our land."*

*"It won't be just yours for long."* The man smirked. He turned around to face the other three in his party.
* "I think it would be a fair message to give to their king if we only send one back."*

Before the rest of the men could even grip their swords, a loud bang filled the air, Hoseok along with everyone else jumping in fright-- except Yoongi-- whose gun was raised high and smoking. Seconds later, the Manchu was slumping over and falling limply to the ground.

Then all hell broke loose.

Shouting and swords raised, more Manchu soldiers charging towards them from out of nowhere, as if prepared for an attack like this. It was all so much, so loud, so overwhelming.

Yoongi was at the Frontline, Hoseok catching a glimpse of him plunging his sword into a man and turning his wrist harshly to slice his innards. Yoongi managed a quick glance back at Hoseok, innocent and concerned eyes in contrast to the sick blade in his grasp and bloodied hands.

But Hoseok had to snap out of it. He shook his head. He had to fight.

It was different when there were one or two like in his past encounters. There must be 11 or 12 now. He didn't have time to properly count. He unsheathed his sword and scanned the scene whipping his head in all directions, seeing that Soojin was a bit outnumbered--a third one coming towards him. Hoseok drew back, trying to remember what Yoongi taught him, though now overthinking everything in a calculated way instead of instinct like he probably should be.
