"Come on! Let's go, boy!" Hoseok ordered his horse, feeling guilty over the stress the horse was put under from racing nonstop to the finish line--home. It seemed someone had spotted him along the way. And although perhaps they didn't know he was the captured false spy, he still appeared enough as an intruder in the night, so the arrows flew his way each gate he passed. The horse wasn't the only one under stress. But Hoseok's would be more likely solved with a therapist after this.He had gone eastbound like the woman-- no Yoongi's fucking aunt-- had told him (still going) and could probably evade them easier if he had gone into the forest off the beaten path. But something in him guided him toward the road in front of him. Stay on course.
It led him through the night and into the following day, no rest in between save for a small break to eat, no time wasted. He'd rest the next night if it was safe. He had yet to reach the big 4 way as she had mentioned. Perhaps in his mind, he'd pictured it as close as reaching its forks within the same night that he left. But as the sun was going down on a whole day, he had yet to see any such thing. Had he passed it? No. Couldn't have. Just stay on course.
And as the night came, the cold has started to get to him.
"It's happening! It's happening!" Grandma Park threw herself up from slumber once again and rushed out the door with her bag, coat, and slippers, waking the boys in the process, but not sticking around long enough for them to see her before she left.
Jimin had explained to Taehyung and Soojin of his grandmother's visions earlier that day, and although they were apprehensive to believe, no other word had been heard of their dear Physician, and so they agree to go out and follow an old woman's dreams and intuition.
"Stick to the main road and go North," she had told them. "Don't stray, just keep going. He'll go to thee."
They packed food for a week, planned out their stops at a Jumak when they could to replenish, and would reduce their sleeping hours, traveling into the night so they would get to wherever-the-fuck quicker.
Into the woods Lee Heejoon, the White Shameness of East Mapo (or witch to some) and her comrades, Mingji, LiLi, Jinhye, and Zinsu, from nowhere in particular, they all went-- where it was quiet and peaceful, one with nature and legal, most importantly, to the land where the law would not jab at them annoyingly. The air was crisp, a little cloudy, but no snow yet, though Heejoon knew it would be inevitable as the days went by and the air got colder and the days got cloudy.
