"You seem to be getting along with grandma well," Jimin stated, stoking the fire for the night. They weren't in a nail-biting rush so much, for Jimin knew that as long as they caught up to the group on their way back before they reached the palace, it was fine.
"Why, are you jealous?" Jungkook teased with a smirk, the fire illuminating his face that perhaps might make one creepy, but it only made Jungkook look younger, eyes even more sparkly with the light reflecting off of them.
Jimin scoffed at him. "Jealous? This brat....No. glad she's finally keeping you busy. You're too hyper to be sitting around the house doing nothing."
Jungkook brushed off Jimin's playful comments and smiled to himself. "She's nice. I like her. " Jungkook had never met his grandparents, for they had died when he was much too young to remember them.
"She's... quite a character. I hope it doesn't bother you that she's shamanistic. Believes in all the weird rituals for the gods and the myths and all that stuff." Jimin waved his hands about in wide motions to illustrate.
Jungkook simply shrugged. "To each their own. Does she know much about the stones?"
A small nod and Jimin rolled his eyes explaining his Grandmother's silly beliefs. "She believes they're a gateway for souls sent to the gods. But when I heard her talk about it, I assumed she just meant like you know, dead souls going towards the heavens, not actual people stepping through time."
Jungkook stifled a snicker under his breath. "Is that why she thought you were a gift?"
Jimin widened his eyes. "What?"
"And that I was too?"
Jimin giggled lightly, awkwardly almost-- which was strange for Jungkook to see. "Oh well... she believes... all sorts of things... I guess sound can be heard through the house pretty easy, huh?"
Jungkook shrugged. "I know who the General is, by the way. I mean, not really, but I saw him when I was at the fortress."
"The... fortress?"
