Before night fully darkened the sky, a small festival celebrating the coming fall was to be held in the mid village of Yongsan-gu where mostly the middle class and some lower class would be participating. Hoseok, of course, was expected to go, since usually there was fire involved, knife acts, and a hunt in the darkening woods that easily turned dangerous. Quite stupid, really, he thought. But it was a different time and age with different customs and ideals. He'd imagine anyone from here would look at him funny for decorating a christmas tree in his living room.

Taehyung and Namjoon strode casually in front of him, still with the responsibility of "babysitting" him, though they trusted him enough that they would part when they reached the festival center.

Taehyung had met with a girl around his age while on the way, whom he seemed smiled adoringly too, clearly appearing to be fond of.

'Must be her,' Hoseok thought with a smile. But the smile quickly faded, for their small interactions made him think of Amy, but not because he missed her this time, but because he felt guilty for not missing her as much as he should. Perhaps time had made it so, or maybe what was in the time he had spent away from her.

"Hoseok? Jung Hoseok? You're the doctor right? I'm Jisoo." She bowed politely to him and Hoseok gladly returned the bow.

"Oh yes, nice to meet you." He gave her a pleasant smile, taking her hand firmly and giving Taehyung a smirk.

"Taehyung tells me you saved his life."

Taehyung reached over to give her a light tap on the back, eyes wide, to which she simply pushed him back with a light chuckle.

"Well, Taehyung saved mine as well..."

As Hoseok made his way through the village, he earned the attention of many eyes, as if he was brand new all over again. Some of them he had even tended as a patient of his, yet the hint of disdain and distrust remained present. He heard a few "Hey Doctor Hoseok's!" from a few of the children and a small smile from a few others, but that was the extent. He had yet to see any other familiar faces as the music kicked off not far away.
