"Okay! OKAY! JIMIN, STOP!"
He sped the cart up for a bit more so he could catch up to Namjoon, and held out his hand to indicate he was slowing down before coming to a stop.
The others took notice and followed suit before they got too far away.
Jimin dismounted and unlooped Hoseok's bag containing his medical equipment from over his shoulder.
"Here, Seok."
Hoseok harshly whipped at his eyes and sniffed before he took the strap of the bag. "Thank you..."
He hesitantly crawled closer to Yoongi, bringing his voice to a whisper, hoping that would make him more comfortable, more Yoongi.
"Hey... Yoon... sweetheart. It's me. Hoseok. I love you so much. You're safe now. We're safe." Yoongi was unresponsive in terms of words or even a glimpse. Yoongi had yet to even look at him. But he wasn't panicking, so Hoseok continued. "There are some cuts though, so I need to help you, okay? I need to fix you."
Hoseok reached down carefully with trembling hands for the ties of his robe. Yoongi immediately recoiled, shoving Hoseok away with what little strength he had, and screeched, "Ah! AH! NO!"
Hoseok slapped a hand to cover his own mouth and prevent the urge to sob and add to the intensity of the situation or make Yoongi more uncomfortable. He caught a whiff of something familiar he had used on patients before, though, as Yoongi thrashed around.
"Fuck- fuck he smells like lavender oil..."
Jimin stepped closer, furrowing his brows. "What's that mean?"
"It's used to calm and ease pain..." Hoseok paused to let out a whimper. "He probably tortured him endlessly and when- wh- when Yoon'd start to give out from the pain he'd jus-" Hoseok couldn't even finish his sentence before letting out choked sobs, heaving from trying to control them.
