Hoseok woke up early that morning, having not slept well, even worse than when he slept outside, despite having a bed again last night. He just couldn't get those images out of his head--the man's severed arm lying limp on the ground as the same man screamed in horror, the hot red blood spewing out.
And then his mind wandered to Yoongi; the young man he'd found to be incredibly kind, even much more so than he originally thought.
'Im lucky I slept at all,' Hoseok thought.
It might have been worse if he was completely alone.
He sat up, glanced over at the said Yoongi sleeping, his hair much longer than he imagined when it was tied up, laying loosely around his features instead of as Hoseok had always seen. He looked so innocent and surprisingly peaceful in his sleep on his own mattress a few feet from Hoseok. He found himself staring, smiling slightly to himself at how cute, how small the boy looked, the resting scowl Yoongi often wore, even if he hadn't meant ill towards others, completely softened out.
The door creaked open a few minutes later, Soojin appearing in the doorway.
"Time to go kiddos. Oh? Already up." He gave a pleasant grin to Hoseok and flickered his eyes over at Yoongi and sighed. "Would you get him up? I warn you, he's a deep sleeper.
Hoseok nodded and Soojin closed the door, making no effort to keep quiet, but it still didn't wake the bear, Yoongi, up.
Hoseok decided to get fully dressed up briefly, tying his shoes, and putting on the outer casings of his robe that still had the now brownish stains of blood sprayed in places, before he crossed the room over to the other bed where Yoong laid curled up onto himself like a child, one hand resting between his knees.
'Cute.'
"Yoongi?" Hoseok called out softly.
Nothing.
He shook him very lightly. He knew it'd take much more than he did the other night Yoongi suffered from nightmares, for ten he hadn't budged a millimeter.
