- Namhansanseong: Historical fortress, sight of the stones Hoseok discovers located just a few miles in the surrounding woods, later covered by the renovation of the outer walls.
- Jumak: somewhat equivalent to a medieval tavern where food and drink is usually sold in the main area and lodging is offered. The lodging is usually small and cheap, dirty, and often shared with other travelers or even stable animals if there is no room.
