"Let's run" he started walking backwards, towards the dark forest. "Come" he started reversing faster, leading me to follow. We began running, laughing. We entered the dark forest, walking into nowhere.

We crept around in the dark, until we found a little spot of light. It looked truly magical. The leaves shimmered from the fog and the sunlight. The little circle of grass was most likely the greenest grass in the entire forest. A few yellow daisies grew out of the grass, colouring the depressing background.

"Remus" I gasped, looking at this beautiful view. "This is wonderful" I walked closer to the little field, admiring it all.

"I usually come here when I want to clear my mind or know it's full moon" he placed my books and his bag down on a log, walking over to me in the light. "You like it?" he asked looking at my smile.

He dug his two hands into his school pants pockets, rocking back and forth. He looked quite nervous, but would I blame him?

"Remus, I love this" I looked at him, in love with the petrichor smell. He smiled, looking up through the thin branches.

"I found this place in my second, when I ran out of Potions, you remember?" he chuckled lightly.

"Oh yeah, because the Professor Slughorn gave you a B-?" I asked laughing lightly.

It was quite a day. Remus had studied hard for that test, but did quite bad in his eyes.

"Yeah, the good old days. I miss them" He sat down on the log, by the books.

I spun around in the light, throwing my hands open. Remus chuckled, keeping his eyes on me.

"How are you?" he asked randomly, resting his forearms on his legs. He looked at me when I stopped spinning, freezing at his question.

"I don't know?" I answered uncertain. "I mean, I feel broken, betrayed. I feel like I've been let down, forgotten" I slowly started walking towards Remus as I shuffled through the words in my head. "But I also feel like I've let someone down. Like I've failed at being good enough" I sighed sitting down next to him. "Yet again, I feel like I've been set free, but I have no idea from what?" I buried my face in my hands, taking deep breaths.

Remus sighed, looking at the light shining through the branches. "You have been let down, that's true. And you have been betrayed. But Stars, you were good enough, Prongs just looked past it, he forgot what he had. Prongs failed you, he betrayed your trust" He turned his head, looking me.

I lifted my head from my hands, looking back at him. I rested my head on my fists, as my arms rested on my knees. "But Moony I let it happen. I let him walk off with Lily. I let him go free" I started tearing up. I tried not to cry in front of anyone, especially Moony.

"Hey, hey, hey. Nothing is your fault!" he frowned, wiping off my tears. "You wouldn't have known. Prongs fucked up, not you" he smiled at me, staring into my eyes. "Look, the Marauders will always be here for you, no matter what happens. Prongs is not going to take you away from us, he could never"

His words made me chuckle. He took his hand off my cheek, placing his arm back on his leg. In the distance we heard the school clock ring. Frightened I swung around, breathing deeply.

"We should go" I sighed, standing up.

"No" Remus laughed, sitting still.

"What?"

"We are ditching school, the entire day" he said laughing.

"But Moony, we have sch-"

"Not today, today we are staying here" he stood up, pulling his bag up. He unbuckled it, flinging it open. He reached his hand in, pulling out two beers.

"Moony?" I scoffed. "You literally brought beer?"

After popping off the lid, he handed me a bottle. "I'm always prepared" he joked.

We sat back down, drinking our drinks. Joking around, we started mimicking our professors. We sat for hours, missing most of our classes we lost track of time, forgetting about lunch. Remus started laughing more than usual, which was quite of adorable. He spilled his drink a few times, mostly over my skirt.

"I want to dance" I realized, standing up, putting my beer down. Spinning around, as my skirt swerved with the wind. "You coming?" I asked Remus, laughing lightly.

Laughing he put his drink down. "We don't have music Stars?" he stood up and walked closer to me.

Softly I started to hum an unfamiliar tune. He started swerving with me, dancing quite funny. We started humming a tune together, dancing under the sunlight. The grass under our feet danced along with the wind. Remus started to spin me around, smiling brightly. We danced on an imaginary beat, enjoying our time.

The clock rang again, making us stop dancing.

"Let's go" Remus smiled, picking up our empty bottles. We slowly started walking towards the castle, hiding from students. Laughing, we ran into the building, towards the Great Hall.

"Thanks Remus" I said as we slowed down in the hallways.

"No problem" he smiled, letting me walk into the Great Hall first.
