I rushed down the stairs and saw my mom and dad sitting at the kitchen table; smiling and laughing.

It's been so long since I saw my mother smile

It's been so long since I saw my mother smile. Just seeing her smile makes me feel happy but yet, I still have sadness lingering inside me for my father. He seems to be adapting to human life easier than expected but it's not right. I am glad to have my father in my life but I'd rather him have died that night instead of coming back human. He'll be easier to kill now, and I don't want to lose him... Again.

Mom looked at me causing my dad to turn back towards me.

"Have you guys seen Scott?" I asked casually.

"He got up early this morning and told me that the boys cross country team is having a meeting. Why?" my mom informed.

I began pacing back and forth, "Look, I know this is going to sound crazy but something is wrong. I'm worried about Scott. Please, we need to find him." my voice began to break.

My parents looked at each other as if they knew something. I didn't have time to question them I just wanted to find Scott, or I was going to have a mental breakdown. My mother called my brother, Sam, and had him send out a raven and track down Scott. After about five minutes of waiting impatiently, Sam received a location. They were at a motel, called the Motel Glen Capri.

When I said the motel name aloud, mom and Dad's eyes widen in concern. Sam and I look at them, "What is it?" I asked curiously.

"Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent," dad spoke.

Sam and I looked at each other with raised eyebrows. We knew it was French but we didn't know what it meant.

"We hunt those who hunt us," mom recited in English.

I mumbled, "Argents."

With my aunt Greta and uncle Mark gone our strength is less in numbers, leaving me, Sam, and my mother. Well, my father but he can't do much. The four of us rode to Motel Glen Capri, the closer we got the angrier I got. As did my mother and Sam.

The four of us arrived; Mom, Sam, and I sniffed the air. "What do you guys got?" dad asked.

"I have Boyd, and Isaac's scent," Sam said.

"I smell Allison and Lydia." mom said.

"Allison and Lydia? Anyway, I have Scott and Stiles. Sam go get Boyd and Isaac. Mom go get the girls. Dad come with me."

We all split up and headed towards the rooms, the closer I got to the hotel, the more pain I received. I began getting a headache as if someone took a sledgehammer and whacked me in the head over and over. My claws started to extracted and retract several times, that the tips of my fingers began to bleed. My eyes were flashing almost like traffic lights, I looked over at my dad, he saw what was happening.

He grabbed my hands and looked me in the eyes, "Leia! Look at me, sniff for Scott. Ahh!" I looked down and noticed my claws were cutting into my dad's palms and his blood was dripping on the pavement. I pulled my hands away and did what he said and everything went back to normal. No headache, no claws, and no flashing eyes. But I was more hurt than anything that I injured my dad.

We were standing outside the door and I knocked on it, Stiles opened it, his eyes widen, "How did you–you know what forget it. I forgot your one too. I'm going to go get something from the vending machine, you want anything. No. Cool." He left, leaving Scott, me, and my father.

"Dad, go with him."

Dad walked with Stiles to the vending machine. I stayed with Scott, I sat down next to him, "Scott, we have to leave. Gather everyone that is like us and get out of this place."

Scott stood up and didn't say anything, and started towards the door. I stood up and reached for his shoulder when I touched his shoulder he turned around his eyes glowing red, he roared and threw me into the tv. I could feel the electricity shock my back. I stood up, flicked my claws, and bared my teeth, my eyes fiery red. I let out a roar so loud that the birds flew away. When I went to go after him; Allison, Lydia, Stiles, dad, mom, and Sam rushed in. Allison raised her bow ready to shoot, Lydia pushed her bow down. Mom and Sam walked up slowly and bowed down.

Stiles leaned towards my dad, "What are they doing?"

My dad smiled, "She called for her pack for the first time. She finally transitioned."

After an eventful night of saving Boyd from drowning himself, Ethan trying to cut himself open with a rotary saw, and Isaac reliving a flashback of being locked in a freezer. The most heart-wrenching for me was when Scott poured gasoline of him and stepped in a puddle of it with an unlit flare, ready to light it. After Stiles saved Scott, Lydia saw a figure in a cloak and heard chanting followed by the figure.

We all slept on the bus that night, Mom and dad made sure we were all on the bus safely before taking off with Sam alongside them. Lydia and Allison sat next to each other. Stiles and Scott sat alone. Isaac and Boyd sat next to each other. I sat alone. When Coach Finstock got on the bus, he informed us that the meet has been canceled. Ethan sat next to Scott. I tucked my hair back and listened in to their conversation.

"I don't know what happened last night, but I'm pretty sure you saved my life," Ethan said.

Stiles leaned over the seat, "Actually, I saved your life... But, not that it matters that much. It's just, it's a minor detail..."

Ethan turned back to Scott, "So, I'm going to give you something. We're pretty sure Derek's still alive. But, he killed one of ours. That means one of two things can happen: either he joins our pack–"

Scott interrupts him, "–And kills his own–"

"Or Kali goes after Leia, and we kill her. That's the way it works."

Stiles squints his eyes, "You know, your little code of ethics there is sort of barbaric, just FYI..."

Scott started to breathe heavily, as Ethan got up and Stiles joined Scott. I was so excited that there was a possibility that Derek could be alive.

(Ahh–Cho) I see Lydia holding up her hand towards Scott and Stiles. She has Coaches whistle, and on her hand is this purple stuff. Wolfsbane.

"Twice in one month? Should I be flattered?" Gerard asked Chris.

Chris stood in the doorway, "In 1977, my uncle Alexander Argent checked into the Glen Capri Motel for a one-night stay. In room 217, he used a shotgun to blow out the back of his skull. The autopsy report noted an unusual animal bite in his side..."

Gerard sat in his wheelchair, amused, "If you already have all the information, what do you want from me?"

"I want to know what Alpha that bit him–I want his name," Chris said in a demanding tone.

Gerard smiled as he wiped the black liquid oozing from his nose. "Deucalion."
