-McCall House-
Everyone's gathered at Scott's to prepare for the plan. Malia and Kira informed everyone of what happened at the school. "She took out the whole school?" Scott asked.
"She took out the whole grid." Malia corrected.
Kira looked embarrassed as she looked at Scott. "Look, I failed every single practice try. This isn't going to work."
"How far can we get without the brownout?" Liam asked.
Stiles replied frustrated, "The front door..."
"We're going," Scott said in determination.
"Scott, we went through boxes of light bulbs," Kira explained.
"It doesn't matter. You can do this!"
Kira sighed, "The key card won't work unless there's a reboot, and there's no reboot without a brownout."
"I know you can do this." Scott encouraged. Scott looked at Liam, Stiles, Malia, Allie, and me. "Anyone here thinks she can't?"
"Not me!" Liam confidently said.
"I'm the one who put you in this plan!" Stiles said.
"I've always believed in you from the very beginning," I replied.
"What?" Malia asked.
"I believe in you, too, Kira..." Stiles whispered to Malia for her to repeat.
Malia was overwhelmed with everything. "I'm the one who's going to be locked in an electrical room with her!"
Malia sighed as she turned to Kira, " Y-you can do it..."
Kira scoffed, "You guys are all crazy. We're gonna die."
-Eichen House-
Kira and Malia are gathered outside the front gates, along with a half-dozen other people who are there to visit friends and family. An orderly named Travers came out and opened the gate.
"Please remember to follow visitor procedure! Eichen House has a wide range of patients, and we cannot guarantee the safety of those who deviate from the rules." He instructed everyone.
As everyone made their way into the walkway, Travers shut and locked the doors behind them. Malia and Kira waited until Schrader and Travers were preoccupied with the other visitors before they took action. Seconds later, the two rushed behind the reception desk as they stayed out of sight.
-Outside of Eichen House-
Parrish pulled up to the toll booth, "Delivery to the morgue?"
The guard checks his clipboard, "I don't see you on the list."
"You heard about the animal attacks, right? The hospital ran out of refrigerated drawers, and Eichen's got the only other up-to-code morgue in the county."
The guard sighed in annoyance, "Let's have a look."
Panic flashed across Parrish's face, "I don't think you want to do that– the stench back there almost made me pass out while driving."
"Open the back of the van, please."
Parrish put the cruiser in the park before getting out and walking around to the trunk. He opened the trunk to reveal a half-dozen body bags on the floor. "I'll need to log the names off the toe tags." The guard requested.
