Chapter Sixty-Five: Weaponized Part Two

Malia rolls onto her side and hugs herself, her body began to get cold as the sickness set in further. She felt something in Stile's coat pocket, she pulled out a piece of white paper. I noticed it was a list of names but Malia started shaking. Scott saw her glance at the paper, "Malia... Malia?"

She looked up, "I can't see. I can't see anything!" She said with fright.

~Coach's Office~

Stiles was rifling through Coach's office looking for something that could have infected Coach. He took a second and looks at the papers on Coach's desk. They are all stamped with 'APPROVED'. Stiles sifted through them, the color of the ink changed. He glanced at Coach's mug and sees black fingerprints there, as well. He then remembers all of them having to sign in with their fingerprint for the PSAT and it finally clicks. "She knew... Leia knew." Stiles mumbled.

Simon catches Stiles in Coach's office. "I was wondering how that idiot got sick." He said rudely. Stiles dropped the mug, shattering it. "I'm also wondering where your friends are... Since, in order to get paid by the Benefactor, I need to have visual proof that they're dead."

"Visual confirmation..." Stiles said.

Simon smirked, "Exactly."

~The Hale Vault~

The four of us are now unable to see. "What's happening to us?" Malia asked.

"Scott? I can't... I can't see..." Kira said feeling around.

"Leia? Leia, where are you?" Scott hollered out.

"I'm fine. I... I can't see either."

"Don't move, stay where you are." He instructed.

~Coach's Office~

Simon pushes Stiles into the boy's locker room, "Still a bit feverish, Mr. Stilinski? But you should know something... The virus doesn't kill humans. You'll get better. So, don't you think you should tell me where they are? Shouldn't one of you get to live?" Simon threatened.

"I think I saw them in the library... Or it might have been the cafeteria. It was definitely one of those two." Stiles stalled.

Simon pulls out a gun, "I'm going to count to three, and then I'm going to kill you." Stiles turned around and faces the gun. "I just thought the countdown would make it more exciting. So– One... Two..."

Before Simon could say three a shot was fired and blood splattered all over Stiles's face, and Simon dropped to the floor.

Stiles looked down at Simon's lifeless body and up, "Where the hell did you come from?"

Rafael was in a hazmat suit, holding a gun. He put the gun to his side and rushed up to Stiles, "Stiles, listen– I got a call from Melissa. I don't know what it means. She said there's an antidote? It's in the vault. Reishi mushrooms..."

"Wait, what's it in?"

"It's in a jar on one of the shelves. She said to tell Scott, 'It's in the vault.'" Stiles took off running back to the vault.

~Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital~

Derek and Satomi were leaving the hospital. "I have to get to the school..." Derek said.

"What about the others at Lookout Point?" Satomi asked. As they got closer to the elevator, the doors opened. A blonde woman with a red coat appeared with a gun. She fired at Satomi, and Derek jumped in front of her but it missed him. Satomi dodged the bullets and used her piercer, stabbing the girl through her neck.

Deaton and Melissa rush out to see what all the ruckus was. Satomi turns to them, "...I may have learned to control my anger, but I still know when to use it." she smiled.

~The Hale Vault~

Stiles banged on the Hale Vault, hollering, "Hey, Scott? Scotty? In the vault, in there with you–it's called reishi mushrooms." When he didn't hear a response he pounded harder. "Scott? Scott, open the door! It's in there with you! It's in a jar, it's on one of the shelves. Scott! Scott, can you hear me?" Stiles yelled as he sagged to the floor.

Scott is on the other side of the door, not moving. Kira weakly said, "Reishi... Scott, I saw it... In a jar, on one of the shelves..."

Scott pushes himself up and staggers toward the shelves. He uses his Alpha vision to see. He sees a jar that looks to be Reishi mushrooms, so before he could grab it he passed out. But with luck he knocked down the jar, shattering it. The dust from inside spread through the room as soon as the jar broke. Scott opened the door, and Stiles patted him on the back of his neck.

Stiles runs over to Malia and kneels next to her, "Are you alright?"

Malia doesn't look at him, as Stiles touches her shoulder she grabs his wrist and pushes him away. She leaves without saying anything, and Stiles finally sees the Deadpool list on the ground. He realized that she saw, what he has been keeping from her for so long. He crumpled up the paper in his hand as he watched Malia walk away.
