-Underground Tunnels-

Chris and Gerard are walking through the tunnels, searching for the Beast. Gerard runs his fingers along the pipes as a black substance appears on his fingers. "What is that?" Chris asked.

Gerard rubs his fingers together. "You might call it a fingerprint..."

Chris was nervous as he clutched his Desert Eagle tighter in his hand. "This isn't going to look like anything we've seen before, is it?" Chris asked.

"Oh, there were a lot of descriptions of the Beast of Gévaudan– everything from a red-furred giant wolf to a cloven-hoofed panther the size of a horse. But, my grandfather gave me a description that was a bit... stranger."

Chris sighed. "How strange?"

"He said the body was oil-black... Solid, but shapeless at the same time. Like a shadow pretending to be real."

Chris puts his Desert Eagle back in its holster and pulls out his double-barrel shotgun with a laser attached to the top. "How do we stop it?"

"As far as legend goes, the only weapon that proved effective was a simple spear in the hands of a young woman..." Gerard said quietly.

Chris' eyes widen. "The Main of Gevaudan..."

Gerard nodded. "Mhm..."

The two reached the end of the tunnel, which split into two directions. Chris took the left and Gerard took the right. Chris hears something familiar, the Dread Doctors are nearby. Meanwhile, Gerard is heading down his tunnel with his gun out. As he turns the corner, he comes face to face with the Surgeon and the Pathologist.

He grabs an ultrasonic emitter from his holster, shoving it into the wall as it emits a high-pitched noise. The noise kept the Dread Doctors from using any of their abilities.

"That's right– I know your frequency. And I also know you're down here for a reason. I wonder what that could be?" Gerard said before walking away.

Chris continues down the tunnel when he hears a different noise. He follows the sound to a sewer. He kneels as he tries to look down, but it's too dark to see. He takes a flare from his jacket and lights it, dropping it down the sewer. His eyes widened in horror when he saw a dozen bodies lying at the bottom, as beetles were feeding on them.

-Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital-

Over a dozen bodies are being wheeled in body bags. Parrish looks devastated at the sight of all the bodies. Stilinski limps over to Parrish. "Parrish... Parrish, look at me."

Parrish turns his eyes to Stilinski. "I know what you're thinking– the dream's coming true. It's not."

"Sheriff, there are twenty-three bodies. Twenty-three of them!"
