Malia and I met up with Theo in the boy's locker room. Theo is standing there with a huge syringe.
"You're kidding, right?" Malia asked.

Theo sighed. "Look, I promised I'd help, and I will."
Malia scoffed in disbelief. "That's supposed to help me find Deaton?"
"No. Something in the Dread Doctors' operating theater is going to do that. I can take you there, but I can't let you see where it is." Theo turned to me, "I can't let either of you see it."
"Are you insane?" I asked.
"Ever hear of a blindfold?" Malia asked.
Theo rolled his eyes, "Not one that works on Werecoyotes or Alphas."
Malia sighed in defeat. "What's in it?"
"Wolfsbane. The same kind they used on Liam. It won't last, and there are no permanent side effects."
Hopefully, Theo doesn't know Wolfsbane and Mountain Ash do not affect me. Other than that yellow Wolfsbane which is a little stronger.
"Why should I trust you?" Malia asked Theo.
Theo shrugged. "You shouldn't... But, you will, because the Desert Wolf could be here, and Scott's boss could already be dead. Do you want to give Scott the bad news? Do you want to tell him it's your fault Deaton's dead? Because you pretty much dared the Desert Wolf to come after you." He insinuated.
Malia steps toward him. "You're gonna have to come closer than that." Malia steps one step closer. "Closer."
Theo and Malia are almost face to face as Theo lifts the syringe. "Do it," Malia said as she tilted her head.
Theo pushes the needle into Malia's neck and injects the Wolfsbane into her system. Her eyes glow bright blue and her fangs extend as she roars in pain.
