Melissa exits a patient's room and sees Scott, Stiles, and me in the waiting room with Liam. She rushes over with a wheelchair and takes Liam away.

"I got to get going, I promised Malia I'd help her study," Stiles said.

"Sure. I want to check on him, anyway." Scott said a little upset.

Stiles placed his hand on his shoulder, "Hey... I don't need to say that it wasn't your fault, right?"

Scott shrugged, "I don't know."

"Scott, if you used any wolf power that kid wouldn't be limping– he'd be crawling back to the other half of his body!"

"If I hadn't been so worried about being captain, he wouldn't be hurt, either," Scott said sadly.

"It's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. Team captain, Alpha werewolf...unexpected baby daddy... You're still only human." Stiles left to go help Malia study and Scott and I stayed to watch over Liam.

–Stilinski's House–

Stiles and Malia are on his bed. Stiles is so moved that Malia is learning things. Malia closes her book and climbs on top of Stiles and starts kissing him.

"Hey, we're not finished yet!" Stiles said gently pushing her off him.

"Yes, we are..."

"Okay... I promised I'd help you study. Then we can go back to that. Lots of that– like so much..." Stiles promised. Stiles noticed her book was mostly highlighted with the colors: red, yellow, and green. "What's with all the highlighters, anyway?" Stiles asked.

Malia held up the three highlighters, "Green is for the things I understand. Yellow if for the things I am working on. Red means I have no clue. I'm mostly using red."

Stiles turned to his bulletin board that has red, yellow, and green yarn running across it. Most of his board was covered in red yarn. He turned back to Malia and smiled before planting a kiss on her lips.

"Study first, remember? So what's the secret? Why is math impossible for me and easy for you guys?" Malia questioned.

"Because we use Lydia's notes."

"Then somebody needs to give me notes on Lydia's notes because I don't understand any of this," she said handing Stiles the notes Lydia gave her.

Stiles looked at them curiously, "Okay... Um, Lydia wrote these?"

"Yeah, what are they?"

"They're not math."

–Beacon County Memorial Hospital–

Melissa works with a doctor named Dr. Geyer who happens to be Liam's stepfather. I felt sorry for Liam but I knew Scott didn't mean it. Although I was scared that Scott may act like that to our child, like, one simple thing could set him off. I began to get tired so I rested my head on Scott's lap. He started playing with my soft brown hair as I fell asleep.

My eyes shot open, glowing bright red as I heard Scott roar. I sat up hastily and rushed to where I heard it. I opened the door to the rooftop and saw a boy with blood on his white t-shirt. He had Liam in a headlock at the edge of the building about to jump off. Scott was trying to reason with him but he didn't seem to care.

"Get back!" the boy said.

"Don't! You don't need to do this! Whatever it is– whatever you are– we can help you!"

"No, you cant!"

"Let me help you."

"Wendigos don't need help– we need food!" he turned towards the edge, Scott goes to attack and the boy tosses Liam over the edge.

"Oh, God. No! No!" Scott shouted grabbing both of Liam's arms. The boy pulls Scott back causing him to release one of Liam's arms. I walk over and kick him in the face. He got back up and slapped me across the face sending me flying three feet. My first reaction was to check my baby's safety because I landed on my side. But when I heard a scream, I saw Scott bite Liam.

Scott tossed Liam across the roof

Scott tossed Liam across the roof. Liam was gripping his arm in pain. On his arm is now a fresh bite from Scott. I look over towards the boy who was a wendigo, he was impaled with a tomahawk. A man came out of the shadow. He had no mouth and he held up his finger to where it should be in a shushing motion.

I slowly walked over to Liam and knelt down

I slowly walked over to Liam and knelt down. His wound was bleeding, I took off my pink scarf and wrapped it around his arm. I trusted Liam for some reason and I knew he wouldn't say anything, but Scott had something else in mind.
