~Boys Locker Room~
Stiles and Liam are in the locker room getting ready to go against Devenford Prep. Liam is worried because Scott and Kira haven't shown up yet. "Everything's fine. I got a text from him this morning, and he said he might be a little late." Stiles said. Coach overheard the conversation and started listening in.
"Well, how late is late? Is he always late? We're playing against Devenford Prep again, and this time it's an actual game. He shouldn't be late." Liam said a little too loud.
"Who shouldn't be late?" Coach interrupted.
"Scott and Kira. They might be slightly late." Liam admitted.
"Slightly late is still late. What are they doing?" Coach asked curiously.
"...They're doing something that might make them slightly late..." Stiles hinted.
"What could Scott and Kira be doing right now that's more important than playing in the first game?" Coach asked.
Stiles gave Coach a pained expression. "Oh, Coach..." Liam groaned.
~Home~
After seeing the vision last night, I couldn't go to school because I couldn't stop thinking about Scott and Kira. Malia informed me of a lacrosse game tonight, so I thought the girls and I would go. Hopefully, Scott and Kira will be there. As I was getting the girls dressed my dad came in with a diaper bag with different things. I opened it up, there were two pairs of black baby sunglasses, pink rounded mittens, two pink blankets, two pink hats, and a cold lunch box.
"What is all this?" I asked.
"Well, I want to make sure you're prepared."
"And how is this going to help?"
"The sunglasses are to cover their eyes so no one sees them change color. The mittens so they don't see the claws. The blanket you can use to cover the lower half to make sure no one sees their toe-claws. Hats are to cover their ears on their head." he explained.
"But what's in the box?" I asked suspiciously.
"Werewolves can't use bottles or pacifiers, so when they are hungry they will tell you. Either mentally, emotionally, or physically. When they do, leave the area make sure no one is around and feed them this..." he opened the box.
"Oh my God! What is that?"
"It's fresh rabbit. I skinned it so all it is is meat. All you do is feed them a piece at a time. When they are no longer hungry."
"They'll tell me..." I interjected with a smile.
"Exactly, now you better get going." The two of us placed the girls in their car seats and I drove to the school.
~Lacrosse Field~
We arrived at the school, before I took the girls out of their car seats I put their sunglasses on, "You girls look, killer." I grabbed their stroller, it was a two-in-one. I put Allie in the front and Devana in the back. Once I buckled them up I noticed tiny claws on their fingers. I put the pink mittens on and I checked their feet and head. Thank God nothing... yet. But I still brought the bag with me in case. I began walking over to the lacrosse field.
The lights on the lacrosse field turn on. Malia and Stilinski take a seat along with Mason. I stroll over and sit at the bottom with my girls next to me. Liam and Stiles are sitting next to each other still waiting for Scott and Kira. "They're still not here," Liam whined.
"Okay, what's really going on? Are you nervous about the full moon? It's not for another twenty-four hours. Liam you're going to be fine. Okay? Just try not to rage out on anyone." Stiles said.
"You're not worried?" Liam asked concerned.
"Okay, I'm mildly concerned. Mildly." Stiles said mildly concerned.
"We're gonna lose without him..." Liam declared.
"No, we're not! We can be just as good without Scott, okay? I've been practicing. Let me tell you something, I'm getting good—really good." Stiles insisted. Stiles falls over nothing and Liam gives him a look. "...Yeah, I'm gonna call Scott again," Stiles said Liam agreed.
~The Sewer~
Chris is slowly bleeding out when he looks up to see Parrish, "They're gone..." Chris mumbled.
"How long have you been like this?" Parrish asked.
"I don't know... Might have blacked out a few times..." Chris breathed heavily.
"Peter Hale did this?" Parrish asked.
Chris nodded, "You were following him?"
"Every day since Meredith Walker," Parrish replied.
"Listen to me— Kates going after Scott. Peter and Kate. You've got to warn them." Chris informed.
Parrish pulled out his phone as he tried to get reception but failed. "I can't, there's no service down here."
"Then just go..."
"If I leave right now, you'll be dead by the time I get back. And Leia would never forgive me for that. So, we're getting you out of here. Come on!"
~Lacrosse Field~
Devenford scores again, "All right. Neither of them is answering. I gotta see what's going on," Stiles said to Liam.
"You're leaving? What am I going to tell Coach?" Liam asked.
"Stupid! Stupid old—" The Coach yelled.
"Uh, you don't tell him anything, okay?" Stiles instructed Liam. Liam looked down, Stiles put his hand on his shoulder. "Liam, you're gonna be okay. All right?" Liam nodded. Stiles jogs over to his dad and they leave together. Malia stays at the game in case Scott and Kira show up while they are gone.
"Liam! Get on the field!" Coach ordered Liam.
A fan in the crowd yells, "Go, Brett! Woo! Go!" Devenford gets the ball and makes their way across the field. Liam stood in the way to intercept it, but he didn't move.
"Liam, for the love of God, MOVE!" Coach hollered.
Liam stood frozen as he saw a Berserker kill another player. The other team runs by him and scores. I put my hands over my mouth, I could sense the fear coming from him. Peter sat down next to Malia, "...So, who's winning?" he asked.
