Mom still doesn't know about last night, at least we don't think she does. Mom and aunt Greta enrolled Sam and me in school. Sam is a grade higher than me but we still talk through our wolf so we can remain close.

As we walked through the doors, all eyes turned to us. Was it because we were new? Was it our outfits? Do they know what we are?

My brother dressed to impress the girls, but when the girls approached and flirted with him, he would loop his arm around my neck and walk away with me. He's such a jerk. He needs a girl. Desperately.

I preferred wearing my hair up and anything with a wolf, or a diamond

I preferred wearing my hair up and anything with a wolf, or a diamond. Ooh, a diamond. My favorite objects ever. My wolf craved diamonds and their shininess.

After a few hours of school and a few classes, we've received several sheets of homework. Sam came up to my locker holding his Biology homework.

"Do you understand any of this shit?"
He asked waving it in the air.

I pulled his hand down as people turned our way. "No, I don't but that doesn't mean we can't try and learn okay," I said calmly.

"How about we just give it to uncle Mark and have him chew it up like last time. He made it look good last time I said my dog ate my homework. The slobber was sufficient enough for me to skip the assignment." Sam suggested.

I shook my head in disappointment, "Uncle Mark is not a dog and why don't you have someone come over to help you. I saw you looking at that girl... Uhm, what's her name?"

"Erica."

"Yeah. She's pretty, invite her over."

"I think she's in gym class right now. I'll... I'll go see her." Sam said as he walked away.

I looked down and realized his homework was in my hand. "Sam! You forgot something." I shouted waving it in the air.

He gave me a thumbs-up, as he said, "You got it covered, though, right?"

I grimaced as I stuffed his homework in my bag. I decided to follow my brother to the gym to see how things go with him, and Erica before I head home, and do both mine and my brother's homework.

As I pushed open the heavy gym doors, I saw Erica lying on the blue mat, she was convulsing. I went to aid her when I was yanked back, as I turned, I saw an almost pale-faced Sam.

"We got a problem." he kept staring at the scene that was going on with Erica. As I looked, I inhaled and smelled two different creatures. I wanted to help Erica, and I could tell Sam was in pain seeing her like that, but we tried to keep our distance from others that could sense us. The boy with chocolate brown eyes and an uneven jawline was kneeling by Erica, he turned his head towards Sam and me. We knew he must have caught our scent, so we took off running.

When we got home, mom and aunt Greta were outside. On the run home, Sam and I decided we would tell uncle Mark about that night. I ran up to mom, "Mom, where is uncle Mark?"

"He went for a run in the woods. Is something wrong?" she replied.

Sam and I stared at each other in fear as we thought about the hunters from that night. Sam and I started to tell mom everything that happened that night, so quickly I could see the worry on mom's face grow. Aunt Greta looked like she was going to cry, within a flash we were all running in the woods on all fours looking for uncle Mark.

Mom stood on top of a large rock and let out a howl, signaling for uncle Mark to find us. We waited in that open spot for a few minutes and nothing. I curled up next to my brother, worried that they got him. We stayed there all night long. The four of us curled up together and waited for a howl back, or him to at least appear.

Ever since I saw those blue eyes the first night we arrived here, I haven't been able to get them out of my head. I know I should be thinking about finding my uncle but I want to find those blue eyes. I moved out of my brother's grasp and ran off to look for those mysterious blue eyes and who knows, maybe I will find my uncle. I came upon a burnt-down house, the windows were shattered, the porch was damaged, and sides of the house were missing. I started to walk up the hill towards the porch when I saw the blue eyes looking at me in the upper window. Got you!

I ran into the house and came upon a large set of stairs; it was dark and musty. I started up the stairs, dodging every hole in the floor as I made it to the room. Nothing. I shifted as I stood, I looked around the room and examined all the things in the room. Trophies, pictures, a flat basketball, but then I felt someone behind me. I reached down for the flat basketball with ease, in a flash I threw it with such force no human could catch it, but this guy did. He caught it with no problem.

"What are you doing in my home?" he asked sternly, dropping the ball to the ground.

I raised an eyebrow, "You live here?"

He nodded his head. Then I realized he's... he's... blue eyes. I walked closer to him, "Shine your eyes."

He closed his eyes and opened them and they were this beautiful electric blue.

I gasped, "Blue Eyes." a howl was heard through the air, it was my mother, she was looking for me. "I'm Leia Moon. I have to go, my mother is calling me."

He looked at me with a smile, "Derek. Derek Hale."
