~AP Biology~
The bell had finally rung, everyone stood up and started for the door. Lydia stood up and stopped when she noticed Devana wasn't coming. "D, are you coming?" but Devana just kept looking down. I rushed over to Lydia pulling her away from Devana. Theo called Scott and Kira back in, closing the door behind them and pulling the shade down.
"Mrs. Finch, I need you to back up!" I said just as Devana jumped on the desk; claws out, fangs baring, and eyes glowing reddish-orange. As if her body couldn't decide whether to be an Alpha or a Hellhound at that moment, so it was both. "Scott! Theo! Hold her!" I yelled. The two held her on the table with all their strength. She was kicking and growling. "Kira, her feet! Lydia stays by the door make sure no one happens to unlock it." I went into my backpack and pulled out the duct tape, yes I carry duct tape because of things like this. I ran over and duct tape her mouth shut so no one could hear her yell or growl. I pulled out my phone and called the only person that could stop this.
"Beacon County Sheriff's Station, Deputy Parrish sp—"
"Parrish!"
"Leia? What's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
"It's Devana. I need you to come to the school. AP Biology. Now!" I hung up.
~Several Moments Later~
A knock came on the door, I peeked out the door and saw Parrish standing there. I pulled him in and locked the door again. Scott and Theo were losing their grip. Devana tossed them across the room, ripped the duct tape off her mouth, and started towards the teacher.
Parrish stepped in front of her, "Devana, tell me what's wrong?"
"She's being rude to my father and considering he's stupid and he doesn't belong. I should kill her!" she started towards her again.
Parrish's eyes lit up orange and his voice was deeper. "Devana!" she stopped and looked at him. "Do you think your dad doesn't belong?"
"Of course not! If he doesn't belong, I don't."
"Do you think your dad is stupid?" Parrish asked.
Devana turned to Scott who was breathing heavily from having to restrain her for so long. "No. He's the smartest man I know." her claws and fangs retracted and her eyes went back to normal.
Parrish's eyes went back to their green color. "Then it doesn't matter what others think or say." Devana looked at Parrish and smiled, engulfing him in a hug before heading off to her next class. I apologized to Mrs. Finch for what happened and thanked Theo for the help. I hope Allie is having an easier day.
~Hallway~
"Look, I'm not saying I believe all of it a hundred percent, but people around us seem to know things. Like Lydia? She knows things." Mason continued about the supernatural.
"Dude, it's the first day of school. Shouldn't you be thinking about other things, like... Like the soccer team?" Liam deflected.
"What do you think I'm gonna do? Follow them out to the field and watch them practice while I pretend to study?" Mason said glancing at the players.
Liam shrugged, "It's warm out. They're probably gonna be shirtless..." he said with a coy smile.
Mason sighed, "I'll see you in physics." he followed the players outside.
Liam closed his locker and saw Hayden had the locker next to him. He turned to her, "I was wondering if you were still pissed off about the sixth grade?"
