Tonight, there was a flood of bloody people entering the hospital. All the patients were a result of a ten-car pile-up. Melissa is the head nurse in charge and was ushering the patients to different places. Scott and I would usually bring her dinner together but after the incident at the motel, I don't know where we stand. Even though the hospital was in a panic, and I don't have a medical degree being a werewolf, gives me more points in helping people.

Mom and dad decided to go out and have a night out together since it's been decades. Sam stayed in and binged watch 'The Originals'. He finds Rebekah attractive. I went upstairs and got dressed.

When I walked in, blood was wafting through the air, and bodies were badly mangled, rolling in on stretchers. I saw Melissa running around and Scott sitting next to a woman with a sore arm.

"Uh, you know, I think that I read online that sometimes human contact can help with the pain..." he placed his hand on her and used his healing powers, lessening her pain.

All I could do was smile, that's the Scott I know. The caring and sweet Scott. Suddenly, a voice behind me shouted, "Someone! Someone help me! Oh, I need help!"

It was Ethan, he was carrying Danny and you could tell he was ill. Melissa moved Danny over to a chair and she immediately began checking on him. I rushed over, Danny was one of my best friends; we instantly clicked when I moved here.

"What did you do to him?" Scott questioned Ethan.

"Nothing! He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it just kept getting worse..." Ethan explained.

Danny vomits a bunch of Mistletoe berries and leafy greens.

"This is not good. How much longer on Dr. Hilyard? His larynx has shifted to the side. I think it's a tension pneumothorax." Melissa informed us.

"...Mistletoe," Scott muttered.

"Can you three please go back to the waiting room?"

"I'm not leaving!" I said firmly, as I stood by a barely conscious Danny, holding his hand.

"Where are the nurses and doctors? Where is everyone?" Ethan asked.

"It's a full house tonight–they're tending to other patients," Melissa said.

Scott nervously asked, "Okay, well, Mom, how can we help?"

"Honey, you can't. His lung is collapsed. His heart is being pushed against his chest cavity, so–"

Scott grimly asked, "He's gonna die, isn't he?"

When Scott said that a tear fell down my cheek, I quickly wiped it away before anyone saw it but it didn't go unnoticed.
