Galatea dried her hands, humming slightly.

She had just finished dishes from lunch, and was getting ready for hanging out with Freed. It was their solo day, and her and Freed decided to have afternoon tea together.

She had already prepared a pot of Duke Oakwoods Royal Blend, which was just steeping. She grabbed to teacups with their dishes, before grabbing the sugar jar and milk, setting them all down on a tea tray.

"I've got the tea." Galatea said, walking in to the living room.

"Excellent!" Freed said, "I'm excited to try this, I've never fathomed getting to drink this tea before."

"I'm just as excited, I haven't even touched the tea yet." Galatea said, taking her seat in the arm chair.

"So, what do you think about The Chasing?" Freed asked, "I'm oh so curious about your thoughts."

Galatea grinned picking up the book off the table.

"It's amazing." Galatea said, "It took my forever to get my hands on a copy."

Freed nodded, pouring them tea.

"What did you think about Hiroshi?" Galatea questioned, putting sugar in her tea.

"At first, I thought he was a little flat." Freed said, "But I really enjoyed the character development in Chapter 6."

Galatea nodded, taking a tentative sip of the tea.

"Wow, this is great!" Galatea said, "It has great undertones."

"Mhm. I'm sensing lavender and ginger root." Freed said, "This is even better than what I thought."

The quiet, serene atmosphere of the living room was shattered by a loud crash from upstairs. Their eyes shot to the ceiling.

"Oh no, Ever..." Galatea said, setting her tea down and racing towards the floor.

She held her skirt up, to keep herself from tripping as she took two steps at a time. Racing through the corridor and quickly sliding the door to Ever's room open.

"Are you okay?" Galatea said quickly.

She looked at Evergreen, who was clutching her knee. Evergreen looked up, grimacing.

"I tripped over some shoes and smacked my knee into the dresser, and the ceramic vase fell off." Evergreen said, pointing at the shattered ceramic vase on the floor.

"That's okay." Galatea assured her, "Did you get sliced at all?"

"No, my knee is gonna be a little bruised in a bit." Evergreen said, getting up.

"Lets get this cleaned up." Galatea said, "I'm gonna get some gloves and a garbage bin."

Evergreen nodded, and she followed Galatea out of the room. They came down the stairs, where they found Freed waiting at the bottom.

"Is everything all right?" Freed asked.

"Yeah." Galatea said, "Evergreen just bumped into her dresser and knocked off a ceramic vase, which shattered."

"Is everyone alright?"

"Yeah, why don't you get Evergreen a cup of tea while I clean the stuff up." Galatea said, opening up the supply closet and pulling out gloves and a dustpan.

"Are you sure? I feel bad about not cleaning up the mess I made." Evergreen said.

"It's fine." Galatea said, waving her off. "Just go have some tea and relax."
