Some people just didn't know how to take a break sometimes. Galatea was one of those people. Despite her constant napping, she hated being unproductive. So when she had a stack of work, say a daunting pile of special requests, she put everything aside to complete that stack. Between that and her research, she wasn't getting much sleep. It worried her guild mates to say the least. None of them had ever seen her like this, as jobs hadn't been as plentiful. After contacting some her friends back at Sabertooth, they had been informed that this was in fact, a normal occurrence a few years back.

Nonetheless, when Galatea came back from job late at night, she essentially forced to take a break by Makarov. Coincidentally, it was approaching the anniversary of Vivi's death. The Thunder Legion then invaded her house, basically forcing to her host a sleepover before they left for Lucern in the morning.

"Don't make me get up." Galatea muttered, the rasp in her voice ever-present.

"I don't think Freed and Evergreen will let that be the option." Laxus whispered.

While their friends had crashed in Galatea's guest room, the couple had slept in Galatea's bed since it saved him from sleeping on the couch, at least that's the excuse he gave the others. No one bought it though. They all knew he just wanted to spend time with his girlfriend. Laxus was currently sprawled across the bed on his back. Galatea was curled up next to Laxus, with one of her legs laying in between Laxus's. Her upper body was sprawled on top of Laxus's bare chest, with her hair sprayed around her like a second blanket.

"This is my house, my rules." Galatea muttered.

They laid in silence for a few moments, before a commotion could be heard in the house. The two could hear the other three bickering and attempting to keep the noise down, but with the two of them having enhanced hearing they were able to hear everything.

"We should get up soon." Laxus said, "We don't want to keep them waiting."

"But you're so comfy." Galatea muttered. "You're like the perfect pillow."

"Wow, thanks." He chuckled. "Is that all you see about me as?"

"Yeah, get used to it."

The door was suddenly slammed open. Laxus looked up to see Bickslow standing at the door with a shit eating grin on his face.

"Looks like you two had an eventful night." The Seith mage teased.

"Bicks, I will throw you down the stairs." Galatea threatened, not even looking at her friend.

"If you can reach me." Bickslow teased. "Anyways, breakfast in ten so be downstairs and in clothing."

Galatea rolled her eyes at what Bickslow was suggesting. As he shut the door, she pushed herself up, propping herself up on her elbows and getting off of Laxus. She ruffled her hair, fixing her bangs and looking out the windows. Laxus groaned, sitting up in the bed and pulling back the covers over the two. Not-so-gently, he picked up Galatea's leg which was still draped over him and move it away so he could get up.

"You know, you could've asked me to move my leg." Galatea grumbled.

"Where's the fun in that?"

Galatea glared at her boyfriend, picking up her pillow and throwing at his head. The pillow hit the back of his head with such force that it knocked him forward slightly. Laxus turned back to her, unimpressed while she just laughed at him.

She quickly dodged in an incoming pillow before crossing the room and grabbing her clothes. Quickly, she started changing.

"I'm coming in!"
